Pool was not warm until a complaint put in. Then it rained for two days. So only had one real day at the pool.

Pros:

From check in to check out our stay was perfect, Jamie at check in looked after us and the guys who cleaned our room were perfect, couldn’t rate this hotel higher

Cons:

Honestly, this is a very hard one to answer as we were so happy.
If there was one thing to have a minor thing about, it would be the breakfast, it felt quite budget compared to other high class hotels we have stayed in

Restaurant området var tarveligt for et 5-stjernet hotel. Indenfor var der ekstrem dårlig akustik og udenfor var der ingen hygge det var nærmest som om at det var der hvor de fyldte klor på poolen. Meget underligt for et 5-stjernet hotel

Good location, lovely staff, underwhelming hotel
Pros:

The facilities were clean and the staff were all lovely. Great location walking distance from most attractions and plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes, and the night markets.

Cons:

The whole hotel feels a bit dated, not really what we expected of the Shangri-La brand. The gym isn't exactly well equipped, the restaurant/breakfast wasn't too impressive. Just overall didn't feel like we got a lot of value for the cost.

A few days of luxury in a tropical icon.
Pros:

Spacious room, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Rooms were quiet even though there seemed be many people around. Lovely gardens and trees and nice outdoor lighting at night. It was a pleasant stroll to shops, art gallery and town.

Cons:

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. We appreciate that the property is showing its age a little but there was also a nice balance of what to renovate and what to leave.
We would love to return but sadly, the pricing is just a little out of our budget.
