Moldy and mildewy
Pros:

The beach was wonderful.

Cons:

The first room we were put in had mold and if you touched the thermostat the entire room would be wet.

Fraud and staff that steals card information
Cons:

I believe someone from staff came into our room and obtained my husbands navy federal card information and tried to make a purchase for /$680 on walmart.com this has NEVER happened until our trip here and we requested towels while we were not in the room someone came in and replaced them and got his card information and tried using it but we were contacted by navy federal fraud department!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 😍
Pros:

My daughter and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. We came to Fort Walton Beach to celebrate her 16th birthday. The location of the hotel was top tier. A few minutes from the beach and a few minutes to Destin. I'm going to do a tick tock video tomorrow about our experience, our stay, and our entire vacation.

Cons:

I couldn't find anything wrong.

Anniversary celebration was great
Pros:

We requested an upgrade and the staff made it happen! Awesome trip 😁 The donut shop located on the first floor was horrible I never met a donut I didn't like until we tried them Very bad.

Disappointing
Pros:

The location being right on the beach & that there was a restaurant near the hotel .

Cons:

Our first room had past infestation of bed bug stains all over the mattress. We brought this concern to staff at the front desk and was told if there were live bugs WE would have to leave and would not be able to get our money back. When we explained we did not see any live bugs but that the mattress was filthy and when researched it was similar to bed bug stains, he stated he could give us a new room but could not give us a refund. We talked to the house keeping manager the next day who told us there was nothing she could do and we had to wait for the manager to speak to the following day. After 2 days, the manager apologized for the lack of cleanliness and gave us free parking, in which we were not aware we had to pay for parking in the first place , 2 free drink cards & 2 games of golf. We were told we could not get any money refunded due to booking on booking.com. This was extremely disappointing, especially regarding how much we paid for this hotel. Completely unacceptable having to move buildings and change rooms because of a filthy room that was supposedly checked off as “clean” by house keeping. I usually love booking with this hotel, but will no longer recommend or stay at another hotel under this company again.

Time for change
Pros:

Location great

Cons:

We've been here for years. The same guy cleaning the pool and he doesn't do good like he used to. We watch him from our balcony he slacks a lot now. Pools are very dirty everyday . We will probably change locations from now on. They charge 10$ a day parking we didn't mind paying because it was clean . But the staff smoke marijuana in bathrooms and elevators just much dirtier than it used to be. We've used this hotel every year but think we will change after this year.
