Feeling unsatisfied the way receptionists handle my concerns.

I made an online request for an early room accommodation between 1:30–2:00 pm because I needed to attend an important event nearby at 3:00 pm. I arrived earlier, assuming I would be able to check in before 2:00 pm so I would have enough time to prepare and dress for the event.

I followed up twice with the reception, but I was informed that my room was still being cleaned and was not yet ready. At around 2:00 pm, I followed up again and was told that I needed to wait another 15 minutes because the room was still unavailable.

At that point, I expressed my concern to the receptionist because my booking request indicated that I should be accommodated by 2:00 pm. However, I felt that my concern was not handled properly, which is why I insisted on my right to the agreed check-in arrangement, especially since I had already arrived 30 minutes before the requested time.

Wonderful reception staff, room was big clean but a little tired
Pros:

The reception staff were lovely! Friendly, professional and super helpful.
The location was central and really close to Roma St Station.
Room was spacious and well equipped.

Cons:

The room decor was tired, with some damage evident (slight water damage had lifted a corner of a window sill and the bottom of the bathroom door needed TLC), but at this price point in the centre of the city it presents very good value.

Great location, great staff, a nice safe place to stay.
Pros:

Always love staying here. Easy accessible car park with moderate fee to use. Close to CBD. Staff always friendly and helpful. A place you always feel safe. Love the ability to buy a snack or drink.

Cons:

Room service would be good and not every room has a smart tv which is a bit annoying if you want to watch netflix.

Perfect location for rail travellers ... good sized room ... comfortable bed ... helpful staff ... fabulous city views from 19th floor

Cons:

Traffic noise as expected ... air conditioner was a bit noisy ... we had problems contacting reception prior to checking in as the diversion kept sending calls off site, but that's unlikely the standard
