Outstanding
Nothing
The service here is wonderful and the staff truly delights. Room staff's attention to detail was amazing - they brought a suitcase stand before I thought to ask, and they even tidied my charging cords. Restaurant breakfast was excellent, service very attentive. We stayed at the hotel for a wedding and it was beautifully done, food was delicious, servers communicated dietary sensitivities to kitchen staff and made sure everything was satisfactory in that regard.
A perfect place to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday. The team went above and beyond to make our experience one we will never forget. Unforgettable views and service. Our #1 choice hotel when we visit Boston!
I have always wanted to stay at this hotel and finally had the opportunity. The location is perfect - right by the ferry and in a great area of Boston. We had a water view room which was nice. My biggest issue was the height of the toilet. These are the originals and slightly higher than a kid's toilet so low by any adult standards. That's a deal breaker in what is supposed to be a luxe hotel. Other issues that were easily fixable. The shampoo and bath gel was attached to the wall and the pumps didn't work so unusable. Of course, by the time you realize this, your hair is already wet, etc. And luckily we caught the fact that the alarm clock was set to go off earlier than we wanted to wake up.
Fitness facilities are nice and they even offer classes. Pool and whirlpool were clean and at a great temperature however the tile floor was very slippery when wet.
The restaurant was excellent especially for breakfast. And the service there was perfect!
First and last time at this hotel because of that low toilet. So many other wonderful hotels in Boston at a lower price point.
Great hotel, impeccable service and very friendly staff. The health centre (gym and Spa) is great and the views from the rooms are amazing. Highly recommended for a stay in Boston, for business or leisure.
We had an amazing time at Boston Harbor hotel. We brought our 2 kids and puppy and everybody was so welcoming. Hanging out with the doormen was a vacation highlight for the kids. Everybody went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had fun. They even gave the kids stuffed animals and replaced my daughters sheets with fragrance free ones since she has sensitive skin.
Our stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel was wonderful. The housekeeping staff made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent. Our waiters/waitresses for breakfast and dinner were exceptional! The doormen were always so polite and conscientious. Everyone made our trip memorable.
What superlative service!
I stay in (too) many hotels but the service here was a delight
We live locally, about 40 min outside of Boston. The Boston Harbor Hotel is our go to for family staycations. The staff are wonderful and the property is ideally located to explore the city. The newly renovated pool and hot tub are a big hit with the kids. We feel well taken care of by the team. Everyone is friendly and requests are quickly managed.
Everyone was so kind and helpful the moment I showed up. I also got an upgrade unexpectedly and the room was magnificent with a full balcony and panoramic views of the harbor. The bed and mattress were very comfortable with quality sheets. Thank you for a great hotel.
Boston Harbor Hotel is exceptional. The service was truly the best I have ever seen - and I've seen a lot. Not only do staff check all the boxes on what to say and do, they go far beyond and it is clear that they sincerely care. And if you do go, be sure to sit in Mary Ellen's section in the Dark Bar. There's a reason she received a Forbe's top award for service - incredible.
What an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, the hotel and its staff made me feel completely at home. The experience was so memorable that I even extended my stay an extra day before heading back to reality.
I can’t recommend this place enough—you’re very likely to have just as wonderful an experience. Every staff member I encountered was exceptionally pleasant, truly the best I’ve come across. I’d especially like to recognize Keith, who went above and beyond to make my stay even more special.
Thank you again for such a fantastic experience!
We had such a wonderful stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel! The location in the Seaport area is unbeatable—everything is incredibly walkable, with great restaurants, views, and things to do just steps away.
What truly made our experience stand out, though, was the thoughtful and attentive staff. I had mentioned ahead of time that we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. While we were out at dinner, they surprised us by setting up a bottle of champagne and a beautifully plated piece of cake with “Happy Birthday” written on it in our room. It was such a meaningful and unexpected touch that made the whole stay feel extra memorable.
Between the perfect location, beautiful accommodations, and exceptional service, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!
The property is really great, and we had an incredible view of the harbor from our room, and the F&B is super good. But what really makes Boston Harbor Hotel special is the service. Every single interaction was A+ and the staff really made us feel welcome. Also, if you are thinking of a place for Boston Marathon Weekend - this is it. We had complimentary Expo and Race Day shuttles, and other special touches that demonstrated the BHH's commitment to making the event so much better for us. Thank you BHH!
One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Exceptional service at every level. Great location. Within walking distance to everything. The Dark Bar is exceptional. Mary Ellen was fantastic.
Best in Boston. Great staff and Management team.
Spacious & clean
I prefer buffet breakfast that I can choose myself
Boston Harbor Hotel is like going back in time to when personal services was part of the experience. From the time you arrive the entire team makes you feel like you're their number one priority. I was in Boston to run the marathon and the health club was exactly what I needed for my recovery. And they even framed a certificate with my name and finishing time to celebrate my achievement. It was unexpected and much appreciated.
Plus, it's a short walk to the North End for the best Italian food you can find anywhere. Also close to public transportation to get out and see the all the fun parts of Boston.
If you're going to Boston stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel. It's perfect!
