The location is good. The room is very clean and spacious. The buffet was decent for the price, guest gets discount. The reception was friendly, and the lobby of the hotel also quite nice.
Prachtig hotel met goed personeel. Uitstekende kamer met goede faciliteiten, heerlijke bedden en een zeer goed chinees restaurant. Gezellige lobby waar attent personeel aanwezig is. Voorts de manager Vincent die ons verblijf een extra plus heeft gegeven met zijn adviezen. Ook de chauffeur Jerry verdient een compliment met zijn uitstekende rijstijl en service. Tot slot medewerkster Ella : Zeer attent en for you I will come back !
Niets. Maar als ik een advies mag geven : leer de medewerkers nog beter engels spreken. Als dat niveau omhoog gaat , is het echt een tophotel die zeker 5-star waard is.
Great location, the room was comfortable, and helpful staff.
We arrived on 5/1 and it was the holiday period - but we were warmly welcomed by the very hospitable reception staff.
Food in the hotel is excellent and has a diverse spread including nasi lemak for breakfast on top of the local noodles and western food.
The Continental Club floor is excellent for quiet work/ conversation and meeting up plus food and wide selection of drinks/liquor.
The hotel location is excellent and offers excellent connectivity to the Metro and bus stops and travelling by public transport is very reasonable. Taxi of course is readily available.
more importantly the hotel is located is a serene neighborhood with amenities of the nearby park / lake/ food /restaurant /supermarket.
Take a walk in the Healthy Footpath walkway at the back of the nearby mountain - this walkway is some 25km long and we walked almost 8 km in the evening and the sight in Xiamen is too beautiful and stunning to describe.

We forgot to bring our electric tooth brush head. As we could not find a shop that sells it in the neighborhood of the hotel, we approached the counter staff, Chris, for help. He helped to purchase online (after browsing through many heads and ascertaining with me the correct head) as we are not familiar with local apps). Also as we do not have online payment mode, he willingly accepted cash from us and help with the payment. And the delivery was within an hour as assured by Chris. An exemplary service rendered.

I had enjoyed the lake just near the Marco Polo hotel, and it was so easy to access to the downtown for shopping.
A perfect stay at Marco Polo Xamien . The location in siming district is the perfect choice to relax as well as all the access to the best sightseeing in a short distance

From check-in to check-out, she was consistently warm, enthusiastic, and patient — always greeting us with a genuine smile that made us feel truly welcomed. Whether it was answering questions or helping arrange our needs, she handled everything with great thoughtfulness and attention to detail, far exceeding our expectations. It’s dedicated staff like Winnie who add a special human touch to the stay and make the experience truly memorable.

Very good location. Just across the road is a park with endless walking paths.
I found the group that work at the Concierge desk, all of them, polite and very resourceful.
The Lady captain, Jenny, at the breakfast restaurant, is in a class by herself. She welcomes, leads, serve, and finds you anything you ask.
The Italian restaurant serves good food, very reasonably priced.

The hotel is probably reaching the point where it needs some refreshing. A cosmetic refurbishment. It was a little bit tired. A few things broken in the room. Stained floor tiles.
