Excellent option for central Mexico City stay
Pros:

The whole hotel is just really calm, well managed and easy to stay in. Staff are well trained and helpful, food is good, rooms are comfortable and the spa and gym are decent. It’s a really good choice if you want a safe respite from frenetic Mexico City and is located in a lovely area. It’s much better than first impressions suggest.

Cons:

The hotel looks just a little dated in places and the entrance is underwhelming

I love the neighborhood this hotel is in providing good service and providing a comfortable stay.

Perfect for a smooth México visit!
Pros:

Clean, comfortable and well located place to enjoy Mexico. I never do but here I have to highlight the breakfast offering which is over the top.

Wedding Night - did not even get a note.
Pros:

We got married in Mexico City and had 18 rooms booked at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City, including our own stay for our wedding night — over 50 room nights in total.

Despite this, we were charged $90 USD for late checkout and even $2 per room to deliver welcome gifts to our guests. While I understand policies, I would have expected some flexibility or goodwill given the volume of business.

What was most disappointing, however, was the complete lack of basic hospitality. We arrived at 4am in full wedding attire — a pretty obvious moment — and not a single person acknowledged it. No “congratulations,” no small gesture, and not even a note waiting in the room.

For a hotel at this price point, it’s the small details that matter. Instead, the experience felt cold, impersonal, and far below expectations.

Pros:

Hotel muy bien ubicado , aunque es un hotel grande y ya tiene sus años , está bien mantenido, las habitaciones cómodas . El desayuno buffet es excelente y muy variado . Su ubicación es inmejorable, se puede ir caminando a todo Polanco , una de las zonas más bonitas del DF.

Cons:

En general , todo está bien, solo es renovar un poco las habitaciones y baños .

Great stay!
Pros:

Great stay at the Hyatt. We enjoyed their fabulous breakfast buffet and the concierge lounge. Only downside was having to leave at 9pm.

Wonderful Hyatt hotel
Pros:

Nice clean hotel. Everything was perfect. Just wish concierge working on my day of checkout could’ve help me retrieve my $400 lost glasses. Great food, clean facility in a great neighborhood. Will return!

Perfect place to stay
