I would not choose la Quinta again.
Cons:

No hand soap or paper/pen in room. Mattress was old/slanted. It seemed as if you were only offering the bare minimum.
Also I was charged a $10 parking fee which was not disclosed at time of booking and a total rip off considering the area.

Great find - short drive to LA or Santa Barbara
Pros:

Amazing value for the pay. The room was spacious, well designed and very clean. Plenty of towels. Coffee machine, iron and board, and fridge present. Lots of counter space which is always lacking in other places. Breakfast was great! Multiple options and everything was fresh and clean.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit too tight inside but that’s OK
