Really nice hotel for any occasion
Pros:

Really nice hotel overall, in fact it's much nicer than the photos in my opinion.

There are lots of amenities and it seemed to be a big hotel for both business travellers and for special family occasions.

If staying in the Costa Mesa/Newport Beach area again, I'm going to come here for sure.

Cons:

I thought parking was too expensive, but this is the case with lots of hotels in California these days.

Very dirty

Cons:

The housekeeping service was awful, in our last day she didn’t cleaned our room, and we arrived late night so we had to ask for new towels. I had to call two times to the front desk asking about it. In the end I had to get by myself in the reception. It took more than an hour to someone knock on my door with the towels that I had already get. So, beside the lazy service I was bothered with the late service.

Roger
Pros:

We had a very opportunity to have breakfast on two days. Roger was are waiter and we had up to 15 family members being served. He took our order which came out flawless. The service was superb very personable. Very courteous. They made our adventure very very enjoyable. I needed to point this out because you have a employee that should be commended.

Pros:

I had a little confusion during check-in and needed to call my husband to clarify the situation. When he spoke with Brice, she went above and beyond to help accommodate us and sincerely apologize for the confusion. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to help truly made a difference. I really appreciate her excellent customer service and wanted to take a moment to recognize her. Thank you, Brice, for making an otherwise stressful situation so much better!

Excellent Service
Pros:

Lance helped get me checked in and to my preferred room even with a full hotel and having made a very late reservation. Appreciate that service and it is what has me coming back each month. Between Lance and some of the best baristas around - I have no reason to book anywhere else in OC.

Hope you deal with Jacob Abrego and his team
Pros:

Jacob Abrego completely turned around what had been a horrible hotel experience for me. After coming from a really nasty hotel, I was frustrated and exhausted, but Jacob went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

What impressed me most is that he helped me before he even knew I was a Hilton Honors member. He wasn’t doing it for recognition, status, or because he knew anything about me. He simply saw someone who needed help and genuinely cared enough to step in.

Jacob is one of the most humble and genuine people I’ve encountered in customer service. His customer service is easily 10/10, but honestly, his humility is what stood out the most. You can tell he truly cares about his guests.

I sincerely hope Hilton management recognizes what they have in Jacob Abrego. I could absolutely see him becoming a Manager or even General Manager someday. He has the professionalism, patience, humility, and genuine compassion that make a great leader.

After the horrible experience I had at the previous hotel, Jacob completely changed my experience. He looked out for me when he didn’t have to, and I’m genuinely grateful.

Because of this experience alone, I genuinely want to come back to Hilton for my future stays. One person can make that much of a difference.

100/10. Jacob Abrego is an absolute asset to Hilton. People like him are rare.

Friendly staff and customer service
Pros:

Costa Mesa Stay
Pros:

The location was very nice, a comfortable distance away from the highway, but not too close. There is a Mitsua marketplace nearby where they have several shops and a food court. Overall atmosphere was very nice, although on the lowest level in the car park, below the area where the elevators stopped service, were old concrete walls and a stagnant pool of water, then led to a creepily modern area with red polls. The rooms were nice with 2 sinks, a closet, a combination shower and bathtub, a fridge but no microwave, a desk, several chairs, 2 beds, and a balcony which was much better that my previous review on the Hotel Amerano in Burbank.

Comfortable and staff friendly and welcoming

Before getting there we called and talked to a manager named Bryce she was so warm and welcoming and professional and she provided us exactly what we needed she is definitely an asset to the company
