Muy profesional todo
Todo estaba buen
I gave 2 stars because I was told they’re harder to get rid of but in reality I would give zero, if I could. Since the moment we stepped in the door, we did not have a professional or pleasant experience. The lady at the front is rude and absurd. She helped us multiple times and never once greeted us or even looked us in the eyes. Anytime we asked her to do something it never got done which lead up to us getting into an heated argument with her which she then proceeded to argue back. She couldn’t own up to ANY of the mistakes she made. Rooms are outdated, breakfast is not complimentary and as a gold member you are suppose to receive a $15 credit PER DAY for yourself and a guest and that was not accommodated. Just overall the worst experience I’ve had with any hotel. We will NOT be back.
This is my third year attending a business Symposium at Doubletree. Easy in and out location and the room is very good.
But the BEST thing was having Outstanding Service from Situpe Siologa!!!
Not only did she remember me (and I'm sure all the regular customers) she sent a really nice welcome back via text & when I came to the front service desk she remembered my name (and I wasn't wearing a name tag or a uniform 🤣) Very impressive and great customer service!
Keep Up The Great Work Situpe!!!

Front Desk people sorely lacking in customer service and communication skills. Manager not responsive to needs. Hotel was blahhh. I had been there 15 years earlier and thought it was dated and dark then. Not much has changed. Too many other great hotels in the Colorado Springs area to stay here. Restaurant wasn't great. Nothing special at all.
Location and view
Love the location, love the staff, love the walk out rooms on the ground floor - it makes traveling with pets so much easier!
People smoking cigarettes and pot on the balconies and outdoors
Bedbugs. My stay at the Doubletree Hilton Colorado Springs resulted in a severe bedbug infestation that sent me to the hospital ER and spread to my baby, family, and two employees. The medical and financial costs were significant.
Hotel staff showed little concern when I reported it. Their insurance never contacted me.
Travelers with families or colleagues: please be aware.
The hotel is fine. People are very nice The convention/conference/meeting/ball rooms are on the 2nd floor with the main lobby. The closet in my room has fallen victim to not only the no rod in the closet situation, but the one hook is over the safe, so it can't hold full length garments. I will never understand. I moved the ironing board to claim those hooks for one of my dresses. but they are low - so the other dress has to live on the back of the bathroom door. The mirror have ok lighting, but not good enough forsake-up and there is no magnifying mirror. There is a fridge and microwave. Waterpressure is so-so. Thermostat works well. a lot of regular outlets, but no dedicated USB outlets. The Starbucks in the lobby is not a real Starbucks. Doesn't even have their food items.
Nice hotel. Menu selection poor. Ate all meals elsewhere or brought meals in. Loved that our room had a small patio river side making taking our dogs out very easy.
Clean
What ever was wrong they fixed it
We had our annual writers conference at the Colorado Springs Doubletree again this year. This was the best year yet:) The staff always gives us a warm welcome. And though they manage several events at once, they always make us feel like we are special. They met all our contracted needs, and even some of our whims. We send compliments to the entire hotel staff, with special mentions: Wes, Brittany, and Scot, who managed our event with patient professionalism. Patrick, at the main bar. Antonio and Melissa, who managed our concession bar. And Annie, in the dining room, who always makes us feel extra welcome. See you next year!
I just went to a great conference at the Doubletree Hotel and I was so impressed with the hotel facilities and the staff. Conference food can be hit or miss, but their new Chef produced the quality of food I'd expect in a 5-star restaurant. It was delicious and you can't say that about most conference meals. (Not only grits, but the best grits this Southern girl has ever tasted!) The wait staff was attentive and professional--led by Annie and Melissa. Wes and Scott made sure we had everything we needed. Brittany was always there to assist with a smile and a great solution. The Patrick and. I think it was Anthony or Antoine made sure we had a great drinks. Our hotel room was clean, modern, and well-appointed. Maid service was pristine. All in all this was a lovely experience at the Doubletree and I can't wait to go back next year.
Location and friendliness of staff.
Breakfast took longer than expected. From the time we ordered to the time we got our meal, we needed to take it to go to make it to work on time. There weren’t many people in the restaurant so not why it took so long but the staff was lovely.
When we got to the hotel with our Booking.com reservation number and pin for the correct date, we were told that Booking.com had not paid the hotel for the room and they would not honor our reservation. We paid Booking.com directly. The hotel refused our request through Booking.com for a refund, and Booking.com will not refund our money if the hotel refuses.
