In camera avevamo un tavolo rotto sorretto da una sedia che ha rischiato di finirci sui piedi quando abbiamo provato a sederci... il cestino a fianco al water non era stato pulito ed abbiamo trovato il pattume dei precedenti villeggianti. Nel complesso la camera era datata.

Die Marke Novotel ist nicht mehr das, was sie mal war. Zumindest hat mich das Hotel in Dijon mehrfach enttäuscht.

121 € Übernachtung Frühstück zwei Erwachsene und einjähriges Kind ist okay.

Aber:
Die Gastronomie lässt arg zu wünschen übrig. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant scheint ganz offenbar keinen Koch zu beschäftigen. Die illustren Auswahl an Gerichten,vermutlich größtenteils Fertigprodukte beziehungsweise Vorgekochtes, das aufgewärmt wurde.

Das sollte wohl jeder hinkriegen, essen aufzuwärmen. Aber hier ist es kläglich gescheitert.. mein Kartoffelbrei war eiskalt. Das Onglet , eigentlich ein edles Stück Fleisch vom Rind. Laut Karte, auch nur Geschnetzeltes oder Gulasch., was grundsätzlich nicht verkehrt ist, war lauwarm.

Die Pommes Frites waren ebenfalls nahezu kalt. Kein Wunder, wenn sie nicht frittiert werden. Vermutlich wurden sie in einem Airfryer erhitzt. Da kommen sie aber auch heiß raus. Also vermutlich auch im Kombidämpfer erwärmt. Und dann stehen gelassen, um alles auf einmal zu servieren.

Der Preis für dieses Gericht wird in anderen Restaurants in Frankreich auch aufgerufen. Dann ist es aber top und frisch zubereitet. Die Beilagen mussten im Gegensatz zu einem herkömmlichen Restaurant alle extra bezahlt werden.

Noch nicht mal ein Blatt Salat war dabei. Nur etwas Fleisch in einer Zwiebelsauce. Der Preis? 26€ . Laut Karte 180 g Fleisch, war aber deutlich weniger, vielleicht zusammen mit der Zwiebelsauce….

Da ich Hunger hatte, habe ich nichts gesagt und es so hingenommen. Bei Bezahlung gefragt vom Kellner, ob alles in Ordnung war, habe allerdings etwas gesagt.

Mehr im freundlichen Plauderton darauf hingewiesen, dass das Essen eiskalt war, weil es vermutlich nicht lange genug erhitzt worden ist im Kombidämpfer, waren die beiden Bediensteten hinter der Theke peinlich berührt und haben daraufhin bestätigt, dass das Essen nur aufgewärmt wird.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich. Das war nicht das Problem.

Die Zimmer okay.

Die Lage für die Durchreise sehr gut. Außerdem war man relativ schnell in der Innenstadt von Dijon.
