Very good location and I felt safe in the area. Rooms were clean and pretty much what we expected. Peter at the reception was very helpful and friendly.
I have been staying at this hotel repeatedly for over 20 years. What I love most is its outstanding location, which is simply unbeatable. Although the facilities are showing their age a little, the hotel is always clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff are consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back year after year.
I would like to thank Peter for his kindness and great value for me , private his hard work and providing us good service all time with his smile. About hotel I like lobby area.
Arrived pre check in time, that’s fine and cases stored, however not a particularly warm or welcome reception with no information shared about rooms, check out time, breakfast times, electrical switches in room or anything , had to ask
Booked two superior rooms, but one room larger than the other and on different floors when booked together
Rooms clean , although not modern , fitted with dark furniture. Fixed shower head which is a personal pet hate of mine, but there was a bath Did the job for one night .
Breakfast could be better, decent selection but cooking quality dubious for some items. All self serve , including drinks which is not explained by any of the staff present Asked for gluten free bread and had to wait a while for it
Overall staff not very helpful, pleasant or friendly , only one of the concierge(didn’t get his name), no information shared or provided. The hotel is living on its location , as at the cheaper price scale. I wouldn’t say 4 star.
