Location
Facility was clean, room was small but sufficient, the bathroom very small. Breakfast buffet was good; service there was good.
The check in was awful. My phone had run out of battery and the desk clerk made it difficult to find my reservation. I had paid for two rooms - one for my husband and myself and one for my son. She insisted she couldn't find my son's reservation.
I told her I was having a bad day; having left home at 6 a.m. in Colorado and forgot my backpack with computer, charging cords, etc. She said she was having a bad day too, which I thought was rude and uncalled for.
After I dug out my husband's computer, turned it on and found the other reservation, she insisted that she didn't find it initially because I didn't give her the right name. My son has the same name as my husband so I used his nickname as the first name and forgot doing so. I assumed the reservations were paired as they were both paid for by me and grouped together. She had his last name but refused to look for other guests with that name.
I also think it's unreasonable to charge for parking at this facility, which has a huge lot and is in an area where there is plenty of space.

Air conditioner leaked on floor between bedroom and bathroom, shower area was really tight, mirror magnification was a joke way too small to be of use! Was charged for parking my car in the lot!
Was charged for mutilple orders or food/drinks/large tip I never ordered. Had to call 3x to get my refund.
Location was great, about 7 mins from Duke Medical. Quiet. Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Property charges for parking. Most hotels in the area even better quality hotel do not charge parking fees. The bedding wasn’t clean. The sheets smelled. The room also was not cleaned when requested. I also found front desk people do not care at all. Just mechanically do their job
