Ik vond het allemaal wel heel erg duur overnachten.
The room is okay. Quiet, the bed is great and I had a nice and relax sleep at night before my flight in the next day. I don't like the bathroom, the tub is clogged and coffee maker is not working. I don't have a coffee in the morning. I let the front desk know before I left the hotel and told them about my stay. I guess the last person who stayed there are messy. I hope the hotel didn't charge me for that. I stayed they're May 20, room #603. Front desk and staff are super helpful and nice and friendly.
Location
Lack of parking
The main front desk lady was friendly and accommodating. Location is good. Room as clean and spacious with good AC. It wasn’t noisy.
It felt like a motel, old carpet, white bedspread -not dirty or clean, (housekeeping on Thurs ?? Unless requested) property is run down, keys didn’t work half the time, old doors didn’t feel secure, only 1 of 2 elevator worked, remodeling ?, skeleton crew (maybe 6 total), busy with cruise ship travelers very small lobby & breakfast area, only continental breakfast, no swimming pool or gym.
Great hotel although only one elevator was working. Also my gfs car was allmost broken into. Hotel needs better outside lighting an cameras.
Kathy at the front desk provided exceptional customer service and also guided us to a car service to the cruise port. She allowed us to check in before 1pm.
Location
The bed was a rock! The breakfast was very disappointing. There was no hot food like eggs, bacon or sausage , only cereal and waffles. The 3rd party shuttle service I was signed up to go to our cruise was horrible !!!!! We were called by the front desk @9:20am ( the phone in the room was broken so I had to go downstairs to ask what they needed) asking if we wanted to take the earlier shuttle because the 10:30am shuttle we were signed up for might be late. We decided to take the 9:30am shuttle thankfully because the shuttle didn't leave out hotel until 10am and then went just down the street to another hotel and sat there loading people for about 30 minutes. The shuttle worker was rude, and what was supposed to take 1 hour to get to the pier took 1 hour and 40 minutes. Then the worker broke my luggage when unloading it from the shuttle and didn't even apologize and was rude when I mentioned him tearing my bag.
Easy to get to
Proximity to airport
Airport shuttle
When making the reservation and when I later confirmed, I made it clear I was in a wheelchair and needed accessibility. I was also told they had free accesible shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. When the shuttle appeared, it was not accessible and I was told I had to call for a taxi. With tip, the fare was 50.00 and not reimbursed. This is a clear violation of ADA regulations. Furthermore, the room was not accessible.
Although the hotel feels a bit dated — and they are renovating— we were very happy and would stay here again. The staff was extremely helpful in all ways even though they were very busy. There is regular shuttle service to the airport, which we also used to catch the light rail train from the airport into Seattle and Pikes Place Market. The hotel is also very close to the Tukwila International light rail station, possibly walking distance. (Even though it’s very close to the airport a Lyft or Uber to the hotel is nearly $15, so use the shuttle from Island 1 or the rental car facility). We’re on a long trip so we were glad the hotel has a guest laundry. Only one washer and dryer, but they take credit cards. If you don’t bring your own you can buy detergent at the front desk ($3 for a single use packet of All free & clear liquid). The breakfast is basic hotel fare — bagels, make-your-own waffles, oatmeal packets, packaged hard-boiled eggs. Plenty of good coffee. There’s a large comfortable waiting area in the lobby. It was a good experience all around.
Rooms were clean
Hotel is under construction
The location was perfect, though it was difficult to know where the hotel was located because it was not well marked. My daughter enjoyed the mini waffles.
The beds' mattresses were clearly very old and used--there were dips in the bed, which did make it hard to get comfortable. Luckily we figured out how to use one of the bed pillows to fill in the dip. Also, the breakfast was rather lacking. Unfortunately it was carb based, with very little offered if you came down within the last hour and a half of the breakfast service. It would have been nice to have the coffee urn refilled, maybe some fruit or yogurt for those of us who can not eat carb filled foods like waffles, bagels, kid cereal. Hopefully with the remodel some of the comfort items will be upgraded.
I booked my stay with booking.com and I pre-paid. When I arrived I gave my American Express for a deposit. The hotel charged me again for the full room rate on my credit card. I contacted the hotel directly and they said maybe I should contact booking.com and I told them why should I if the hotel was the one that charged me again for something I had already oaid for.
Breakfast had a nice variety.
Close to airport, cheap
Hotel was dirty. Lobby had trash and food not cleaned up
