Hotel was clean. Beds were decently comfortable. Rooms were a decent size and clean. The pool was nice also. The sofa bed was uncomfortable (but haven’t ever found one that isn’t haha!) The breakfast was wonderful, they have a buffet and made-to order. Served 2 free drinks each night for happy hour at the bar and provided light snacks
The location was good
During our stay, we were extremely disappointed by the overall condition of the hotel and the lack of customer service.
Upon entering the hotel, the first thing we noticed was that the entryway rugs were filthy, creating a very poor first impression. Unfortunately, the condition of our room was even worse. The bathroom had a strong fish-like odor, and there was feces left on the toilet. The bed linens were stained and covered with hair, making it clear that the room had not been properly cleaned. In addition, the sofa/pullout bed was covered in numerous stains, making it unsuitable for use.
When we reported these issues to the front desk, the response was unacceptable. Rather than having housekeeping address the problems, a maintenance employee brought a set of clean linens to our room in a trash bag and handed them to us, expecting us to change the bedding ourselves.
When we spoke with the acting manager, we were told there was no housekeeping staff on duty. Even more concerning was the manager's explanation that the feces, stains, and other issues were simply "imperfections" and that every room has them. This response demonstrated a complete lack of accountability and concern for guest health, cleanliness, and satisfaction.
The condition of the hotel and the way our concerns were handled fell far below any reasonable standard of hospitality. This experience was unacceptable, and we left feeling extremely disappointed with both the cleanliness of the property and the management's unwillingness to resolve the issues appropriately.
The location is very spacious. There are two nice size pools and the fact that you’ve got the choice to be in doors or outdoors is a plus. The rate was extremely affordable for this time of the year especially considering we booked at the last minute.
At other resorts in used to calling the front desk to have them deliver extra items such as towels or garbage bags but we had to go to the front desk to get them which was inconvenient seeing as I was watching over a four 9yr olds and attempting to keep them in order and keep the unit as clean as possible.
Breakfast and Happy hour
The rooms are dated they need an upgrade
Great breakfast.
Very Nice n clean
The walls are a little thin.. I could noise from the hallway, but I had a suite so .. that helped.. The TV are smaller inspected.
We always enjoy Embassy suites. The rooms are large and great breakfast in the morning are included. Fresh made omelets or fried eggs. Hot tea and coffee too. Great location.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
Evening Manager's Reception is fantastic 5:30 to 7 pm.
Indoor pool is nice but no hot tub!
While it is a decent hotel, there are minor inconveniences that spoil the overall experience. It seems they get a lot of bus groups here and it can get rather loud if you have a room that faces into the open area lobby (top to bottom). We had a lot of kids and some were not well behaved The breakfast was disappointing due to low food quality and extremely slow service. The staff seemed to burn or overcook the bacon, eggs were tasteless, and had an off taste. The staff that cleans the tables was great and very friendly and attentive.
Food was horrible, rooms old, pull out bed was stuck. Wash clothes and towels were dirty
The breakfast accommodations are excellent and the gym is the best. Great place to eat and workout.
The first room, the sink was stopped up. Of the two keys that we were given, only one would work after being replaced twice. There was no soap in the dispenser in the tub. Paid a lot, got a little.
Thank you for offering so much for breakfast. Glad you still had the omelette station. Omelette people/cook was wonderful.
Keys did not work. Could not find my reservation so lucky I had a copy of reservation.
When my family and I travel, we would look to book our stay at a Hilton Embassy Suites Hotel. Going forward I doubt I will be using an Embassy Suites Hotel in the future. We recently stayed at the Williamsburg Embassy Suites. Although our room was spacious the furniture was outdated and in need to a refinishing on the wood surfaces. The breakfast buffet was marginal at best. Beside the omelette station the food looked like the offerings of a Hampton Inn. The worst was the evening Happy Hour, in my past experiences at the Embassy suites there were snacks and hot hors d oeuvres. This setup consisted of bowls of pretzels, crackers, tortillas chips, cubed cheese, and canned cheese sauce. Totally disgusting, the food presentation was an embarrassment to the Embassy Suite chain. For extra money they charge for the room night they really have fallen off in the guest experience. I won't be returning to this hotel in the future. Bye, bye Embassy Suites.
The location was central and we were comfortable. The room was clean and we were able to spread out and relax fully. The food was amazing especially for my daughter who is a VERY particular eater!
The staff had great customer service... top notch!!!
There was nothing that I didn't like.
