AC Challenged - avoid in the summer!
Pros:

It’s 90 degrees outside and maybe upper-70s inside the hotel. The elevators are so hot, i pray they won’t stop. The lobby and hallways feel like the pool deck. We were given a room where the AC was insufficient. The hotel tried to fix it while we were out touring, but 1 hour after returning it became obvious we would never be able to sleep. The hotel gave us a new room, which I appreciate. For the most part, we’re pretty good. It still feels like 70 degrees in the room — I usually set the room AC at 67. (Not even close!) If you’re a cold sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. Last thing: the TV system is DirectTV. You cannot log into your own Netflix or Webcast or anything. Feels very old school.

Pleasant staff, great bar, great pool, slightly outdated rooms but overall great stay.
Pros:

Booked two rooms using points for two nights. The front desk man, (missed his name) but he was always there, was very personable, always greeted us, seemed to remember us. Very welcoming overall. Gave me a few free drinks from the shop. I stayed with my father in law who we don’t drink in front of so I only got the first day of happy hour and the ticket wasn’t used.Happy hour was great. Parking lot was often very full in the evenings. Had a few senior citizen tour busses come through but I only noticed them around happy hour.

Rooms were a little outdated. It was a feel of new materials that looked old. My wife thought everything was just old. The rooms had a smell to them of musty air and the AC was off in both rooms when we arrived. Once the air ran it was better. We were on the top floor and I think it got really hot from the summer sun. I think they should keep the air on a set temp when unoccupied. Back to the outdated rooms, the bed was mediocre and the pull out couch needed a new mattress it was severely squished. The sheets were thinner than paper.

The pool was fun but loud and there is some rooms that have windows next to the indoor pool.

Overall I enjoyed my stay despite the room stuff I mentioned. The welcoming atmosphere of the staff overpowered the rooms. A family member booked a room with a 2 bedroom room suite with a couch. It was basically two suites with a door hole cut in the wall. This room was awesome. Single king, two queens and a couch. I wish I had booked that room.

Fantastic location! Ideal for getting to just about everything you want to do very easy.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everyone on the staff was top notch, knew their jobs well and went out of their way to be kind and helpful. From the front desk to the maintenance people, they should be commended on a job well done.

Cons:

One of the elevators was inoperable and the hotel was full so it was difficult to get to our 4th floor room at times. The stair wells were not well marked to be able to find. Half the restaurant was closed most of the time and things were stored out in the open and looked bad. Lots of guests had camp chairs in the parking lot in an almost tailgate party type situation and the marijuana use was so heavy it was very gross to walk through to try and get in to the hotel. The HVAC in the common areas seemed to not be working well either and it was quite humid and hot. Recommend a cosmetic refresh of the hotel. It's time for it.

Nice staff, but a run-down hotel
Pros:

James and the team there were so nice the whole time, but our room was very run down. We were upset on our first day, but just dealt with it as we had already had our room moved once before because of a time conflict. The wifi and phones didn't work in our room and one of the elevators broke during most of our stay. The AC would just keep the room bearable the whole time even though it was kept on the lowest setting 24/7 sounding like a steam engine. The ceiling above the beds was falling apart and turning colors and the wallpaper was peeling off. The TV's seemed to be from 1996 and the cabinet wood where the refrigerator sat was rotting. There were several stains on the couch and the sink faucet was broken. We woke up the first morning to the window covered in handprints. We figured out after the first day the room service only gave us new towels. They would just fold up the hand towel and flip over the pillows and sheets. The breakfast was very mid and we did get to witness a hotel guest slip and fall over some melted ice that a worker had let pile up beside a food station. Like I said, all the staff were very nice the whole time, but this was a very much run-down hotel for the price we had to pay. It was sad to say the least.

Very nice hotel
Pros:

Hotel was clean. Beds were decently comfortable. Rooms were a decent size and clean. The pool was nice also. The sofa bed was uncomfortable (but haven’t ever found one that isn’t haha!) The breakfast was wonderful, they have a buffet and made-to order. Served 2 free drinks each night for happy hour at the bar and provided light snacks

If you can stay somewhere else do it .
Pros:

The location was good

Cons:

During our stay, we were extremely disappointed by the overall condition of the hotel and the lack of customer service.

Upon entering the hotel, the first thing we noticed was that the entryway rugs were filthy, creating a very poor first impression. Unfortunately, the condition of our room was even worse. The bathroom had a strong fish-like odor, and there was feces left on the toilet. The bed linens were stained and covered with hair, making it clear that the room had not been properly cleaned. In addition, the sofa/pullout bed was covered in numerous stains, making it unsuitable for use.

When we reported these issues to the front desk, the response was unacceptable. Rather than having housekeeping address the problems, a maintenance employee brought a set of clean linens to our room in a trash bag and handed them to us, expecting us to change the bedding ourselves.

When we spoke with the acting manager, we were told there was no housekeeping staff on duty. Even more concerning was the manager's explanation that the feces, stains, and other issues were simply "imperfections" and that every room has them. This response demonstrated a complete lack of accountability and concern for guest health, cleanliness, and satisfaction.

The condition of the hotel and the way our concerns were handled fell far below any reasonable standard of hospitality. This experience was unacceptable, and we left feeling extremely disappointed with both the cleanliness of the property and the management's unwillingness to resolve the issues appropriately.
