Will stay there again
Pros:

I liked the Brutalist style interior. Rooms small. Bathroom also small but comfortable. Power outlets next to bed.
Shared living room/kitchen and laundry a practical and convenient addition and very clean. Location 10min walk from Karasuma Oike station. Nakagyo Ward lively area with small restaurants and also close to Nishiki Market.

Loved our stay!
Pros:

We loved staying here! We were recommended by my brother and his family to stay here and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Staff were incredibly helpful, the room was small but decent. Great bathroom facilities. Loved that there are additional bathrooms on each floor, as well as vending machines, a communal kitchen space and also laundry facilities. Location 10/10.

Cons:

As a westerner travelling in Japan we knew the beds might not be to our taste. That’s about the only thing we could comment on. Even still, fairly
