Als Zwischenstopp nach Italien okay
Pros:

Für eine Nacht ideal auf der Fahrt nach Italien. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Dame am Empfang. Abendessen im Restaurant sehr gut. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Cons:

Die Durchgangsstraße von Matrei ist schrecklich. Viel Verkehr und Gestank und keine Rücksicht auf Fußgänger. Der Abendspaziergang war eher negativ. Urlaub wollten wir in Matrei nicht machen 👎😏

Perfekt für Radler
Pros:

Schönes Hotel, ideal für Radfahrer auf der Alpenüberquerung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es gibt sogar eine eigene Rad-Garage die abgeschlossen wird. Wir hatten ein modernes Zimmer (war ein Upgrade) das sehr sehr schön war.

Für unseren Kurzaufenthalt absolut empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Die Geschichte des Hotels ist spürbar und gut gemacht. Wir haben abends lecker im hauseigenen Restaurant gegessen.
Als morgens die Maschine für Cappuccino streikte wurde prompt umdisponiert.
Sehr aufmerksam und nett.

Das Hotel ist Innen und das Restaurant eine sehr gute Überraschung, während draussen Motorradlärm
Pros:

Wir haben das Hotel Krone zur Zwischenübernachtung genutzt. Von aussen sieht es nach älterem Datum aus, innen jedoch eine Überraschung: alles neu renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war vorzüglich.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt an einer Durchgangsstrasse zum Brenner genutzt, an dem ein unglaublicher Lärm herrscht. Vor allem durch das Gehabe von Motorradfahrern, die Ihre besondere männliche Bedeutung durch Lärm darstellen wollen. Die Hauptstrasse selbst ist daher kaum begehbar. Nach hinten heraus ist alles ruhig. Ein Gang zur schönen Kirche lohnt sich.

Prima overnachtingsplek naar Italië toe.
Pros:

Groot hotel, we hadden een gerenoveerde kamer. Ruime kamer. Parkeergelegenheid achter het hotel. Lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Rondje gelopen door de straat, maar dat voegt niet zoveel toe. Prima als overnachtingshotel.

Cons:

Omgeving niet zo bijzonder. Hotel moderniseert steeds een aantal kamers, dus hoe de andere kamers zijn, weet ik niet. Blijkbaar moet je reserveren voor de sauna. Als je over de Brenner vanuit Innsbruck aankomt, betaal je net voor de afslag Matrei 12,50 tol voor de Brennerpas. Als je dan vervolgens de volgende auto weer verder gaat, moet je om op de snelweg te komen, weer 6 euro betalen. Doet een beetje dubbel aan.
