Lovely surroundings lovely owner lovely beautiful room.
We arrived early and our room was ready so that was lovely also it was my hubby's birthday and they left a little surprise in the room . The hotel is 2miles away from the town centre and we walked into town. We also had a drink in the pub next door.
Nothing everything was lovely maybe 2 packets of biscuits would of been nice in the room and maybe nice to Choose our breakfast ie buffet style
Nothing.
The maintenance and cleanliness of the room could be improved. There was significant mould in the shower area, particularly within the tile grout, stains on the bathroom towel, and visible cracks around the air-conditioning vent and skirting board. Greater attention to general upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness is needed.
Everything was excellent, Accommodation, location and especially staff. All in all a very enjoyable Stay.

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location yet near enough to walk into Stratford-upon-Avon.
Lovely food and staff, we loved our stay.
Room spacious and clean

Homely feel. Staff are wonderful and ensure your stay is comfortable. Super location. Parking great. Rooms fully equipped with all essentials. Air con in rooms bliss.
This is a beautiful hotel, we booked for one night to attend a party nearby. Very welcoming staff, drink on arrival. Nice clean room with air con. Good size bathroom with mini toiletries. Tea/coffee, kettle fridge in room. Bottle of water provided. Very comfortable bed. Good storage. We had a snack at the adjoining pub which serves a variety of drinks and Indian food which was delicious. Very polite lady behind the bar. The breakfast again was excellent with good choices and again very polite staff. Parking available at 5£ per night. We didn't have chance to explore the area as was only there for one night/an event but it's set in a quiet village next to woodland. Check in from 4pm and check out 10.30am with breakfast between 7.30 - 9.30am. It's quite expensive but I'd say worth it. would return and would recommend.
Nothing! Met all our requirements. If being picky maybe a later check in and out time.
The room was nice and spacious and the breakfast was great. It is also very close to Anne Hathaway cottage. They also had very nice toiletries in the bath!
We booked a family room and it was supposed to be two bedrooms and a living room. In reality it was one huge long room and two bedrooms were divided by glass doors which didn’t give much privacy.
Cleanliness
Bacon at breakfast and late check in
Modern, spacious, extremely comfortable room, with everything we needed for an excellent stay. Good restaurant.
Nothing - the property is well situated, all facilities are excellent.
Superb facilities, fantastic food and staff, in the most beutiful location, was just a wonderful 2 day stay at the hotel!!
I was nervous going to a new hotel in Stratford but I was so very relieved when I arrived. The woman who greeted me was so warm and friendly. The room was stunning and felt like home as soon as I walked in. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The rest of the staff were very friendly and polite. I really couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you!
Maybe a few more staff?
Clean gorgeous
Nothing
The shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist who lent me their phone charger. The eggs were poached to perfection although on the day the service was a bit slow. Service to attend to issues in the room was very fast.
It would have been good to be informed that the radiators were not working and that heating came via a hot air outlet above the door. It would have saved a lot of turning of valves, waiting for heat.
It was beautiful. It was also just out of the way of the main town so it was quiet and peaceful. It was a nice walk or very short car ride into the centre of Stratford upon Avon. Burnside hotel is really central to quite a few attractions, we visited Warwick castle and it took us about 16 minutes in car.
There was air conditioning in the rooms, which was absolutely needed as it was a very hot weekend. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
The food was delicious, with an option to eat in the hotel or the small Indian food gastro pub that is also on the property.
I would definitely return here again.
You have to pay for parking even if you’re a guest. However it is not too expensive at £5 a day.
Bright and clean. The bar served a fantastic chickpea curry.
They took £75 from my card which will be reimbursed 3 days after my stay. I thought that was a lot of money to expect a guest to have and to not get back for a few days. I thought breakfast could be served from 7am instead of 8am. We had to check out before 8am. Usually a hotel will bring a breakfast to your room but this was not offered even though I asked if anything could be done. The heating would not work. A very loud family with a child was above us, running around close to midnight, heavy footed stomping around, slamming their door. Not the hotels fault but thought they might have heard. They shouldn’t charge for parking in what is a small car park with nowhere else to park.
