Pros:

The location was good, being attached to the water park was a plus.the staff was very helpful and polite.

Cons:

We were not informed that housekeeping was not done in the rooms daily unless requested ahead of time. It would be helpful if there was a notice in the rooms about this and also listing the times for pool and breakfast.

Cons:

Staff was rude at times paying extra for splash lagoon it should absolutely be included no matter how or where you booked your room from period! Currently we're harrassed and treated lower than. Like scum.

Great room for price.
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean

Cons:

Staff were less than professional. Connected to splash lagoon many children on site. Foul language, unprofessional, and rude to guests. All staff were outside smoking while phones are ringing, guests attempting to check out and breakfast depleted.

Hell at Hawthorne

I like that they had a pool. And now my room is affordable. During the week until it wasn't on the weekends. It had nearly doubled.

Cons:

I didn't like that. I was completely disrespected by hotel staff. There are multiple things in my room. Did not work and requesting maintenance on three different occasions went completely ignored.Now, to mention, I had to change my room.Three different times during a two week stay. Staff was completely disrespectful rude, and this is the last place I would ever recommend.Due to it was very unhospitable. They could care less about your needs. Wants or what you pay for and they have attitude problems from hell as well. I wouldn't stay here if it was free.
