Very run down hotel. Pictures on website not accurate. Room never serviced, trash left, bed not made for both days of stay. Light switch by entry door didn't turn anything on. Microwave door broken. No alarm clock.
I thought compared to the photos online the property wasn't what I thought it would be. The room didn't feel as clean and it had a very musty smell. The location was not ideal, it took us 20 minute to walk downtown, and to get to Pensacola Beach it required a fairly expensive Uber. Breakfast was also very minimal.
Everything great staff they make you feel comfortable and always checking on you to make sure you have what you need.
Clean
la habitación excelente!
el desayuno muy simple
Breakfast
Sheets or comforter had a smell.
The location and the personnel there
Everything as promised and typical for Days Inn, no issues, no bad surprises, easy parking, quick check-in, straightforward, elevator for the 2nd & 3rd floors, fridge & microwave, standard but decent breakfast, great location for walking downtown (assuming you can walk 1 mile, but that gets you to the far end & water's edge where The Fish House is (famous). Nothing fancy, but practical and all for a very value-oriented price.
The shower head was a little defective, spraying to the sides, wetting the floor, but front desk was happy to learn of it from me and set about noting it to be fixed (all you can expect & ask, honestly, so all good - these things happen). The breakfast is served on all plastic/paper/styrofoam and I find that outdated, unnecessarily wasteful. That said, even though hotels are generally moving away from that all over the world, it is pretty typical all over the US South & Midwest still, so nothing specific to Days Inn. I do hope all the hotels will one day shift back to actual plates, silverware and cups. More civilized, less wasteful, actually more economical and better for the world we leave our children. Other than that, nothing to say but good things!
I only booked this hotel because it was close the venue I was visiting.
Very sketchy surroundings, dirty room with old furniture, the AC barely worked, and it was just not worth the money. Huge gap under the door so bugs and hot air were getting in. There was also someone else’s hair on the folded up bathroom towel and in the shower.
Chambre petite, propre mais salle de bain à refaire, coffre bloqué porte ouverte, évacuation baignoire bouchée, pas de jus de fruit au petit déjeuner, …
The property was in a good location. They had a nice pool.
I don’t have anything that I didn’t like.
Good location, clean room, quiet and safe. 10-30 minutes anywhere you wanted to go, see, and/or experience. Historical Pensacola is a very nice.
The only thing we liked was the pool
The room was nasty and very old. We had to change rooms due to the smell and our next room was just as bad.
Have stayed there a few times. Has been updated since the last time we stayed. Great location for the beach and restaurant. However the beds and pillows aren't that comfortable.
