Our stay was marred by the fact that construction was taking place above our room and was very very very audible and loud during the day. The location is good and the room and staff were otherwise fine, but I would be hesitant to book again due to the inexplicable decision to put guests (us) in a room underneath construction as opposed to taking it out of inventory for the duration.
Pessimo
Hotel was very busy and it was impossible to get breakfast on any of the days we were there without at least an hour wait.
Location and facilities of the Hotel were excelent, but value dosn't worth it, definitelly!
The hotel is excellent, but the restaurant service is terrible. At breakfast there was a line just to get a table, and once seated the staff were extremely rude. There were plenty of empty tables, yet they wouldn't let us sit — and after we finally did sit down, they treated us with sarcasm. Great hotel overall, but it's not worth the money. There are countless better-value options out there, especially in NYC. What's more, I had to ask 3 times to make up my children bed (what was at revervation), and they just made it at 10pm (we arrived at hotel 12pm, first time we asked it).
I arrived yesterday. Employees are super kind and nice. But it is not enough. Booked a King size suite with a sofa-bed (this is not a cheqp room). Internet does not work inside my room. For some strange reason hotel personnel, which is kind and professional, has not been able to fix it yet.
Room is small. fridge is small, everything seems used or old, the ice machine is not working. there is no club lounge, no in dine after late hours. I feel like in a 2/3 star hotel where you need to solve everything.
No one would pick up the phone after 1130pm, had to go get ice to another floor. First reaction with the wifi issue was to transfer my call to a 3rd party help desk with zero training. I spoke with 5 different people so far w no results.
I still hope my impression of the hotel changes, but so far this is a great dossappintment. I booked here after staying at The Whitley in Atlanta where everything was PERFECT.
Well this is the opposite.
Special thanks to Mr Saeed duty manager was so helpful to solve all disturbances accrued
House keeping is weak
I liked that the lobby smelled great, the room was spacious, the elevators were fast, the bathroom had a bidet, and there was an afternoon service of housekeeping.
I didn’t like that they don’t answer the phone on multiple occasions for room dining or guest services.
ארוחת בוקר טעונה שיפור חוץ מזה מלון אחלה

This was formerly a Hilton property but has been rebranded in the Marriott Luxury Collection. The most exceptional aspects of this high rise hotel are the unusually large rooms-- large by conventional standards and gargantuan by New York standards--and the very central location for Midtown activities and business. The rooms are an excellent value for the size at least at the rate I secured. On the high floors, the views are good and the rooms are very quiet. The service was professional, albeit slightly impersonal. I would recommend this for business travelers or couples looking for a little more space in a central location.
Rooms were large suites with marble bathrooms
As someone who has traveled a lot and stayed in a lot of hotels, there's one signal to me that sticks out above the rest--am I thinking about the stay a day later or two days later or longer? And with this hotel/stay, I'm still thinking about it 8 days later. Obviously, I thought very highly of it.
I rarely say this with hotel stays, but the stay was impeccable from start to finish. I booked this stay on points as a Platinum Elite and used a Nightly Upgrade Award which was accepted. Jason from the hotel reached out in advance of my stay and was very helpful. Check-in was quick and friendly. And then I went to the room and WOW. It was on the 53rd floor. It felt very private and secluded. I appreciated being given the Central Park side of the hotel as well (see attached/included). The room was stunning and massive. The living space was beautiful, the bedroom (and bed) comfortable, and the bathroom was spectacular. The soak tub was appreciated and the shower had wonderful pressure.
Within minutes, a delivery was brought to the room with glass bottled waters, the most delicious strawberries with a sinfully delicious chocolate sauce, and a tasty pastry to celebrate our anniversary (also attached). Unexpected, but so appreciated.
The breakfast was surprisingly good the next morning too. Hotel breakfasts to me are hit or miss and most are misses, but this was a hit. Also, this hotel might have the largest fitness center of any hotel in NYC. Finding one this spacious including an actual squat rack is a unicorn.
I requested a late checkout at 4p and it was accepted without hesitation. This is always appreciated. I really felt valued as a Platinum Elite here (which I can't always say at other hotels). Checkout was seamless as well. I only wish my stay was longer.
I've been fortunate to stay at some wonderful Marriott hotels in the city like the Ritz Carlton Nomad, the JW Essex House, the St. Regis and this hotel is easily as good as all of them if not the best.
I will not hesitate to come back and I highly recommend this hotel to others. My only regret is not having found it sooner.
I recently stayed at your property for 5 days. While I appreciated the great location and spacious room, the overall experience fell significantly short of expectations. My primary concerns include:
Fire Alarm Testing: The fire alarm was tested for three consecutive days without any prior warning, disrupting my sleep. When I asked staff about the duration, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive response.
Lack of Communication: Management has been entirely unavailable, and I am still waiting for a callback. The property’s voicemail is constantly full and staff are rarely reachable.
Mediocre Breakfast: The breakfast quality was poor, offering only basic items like yogurt and plain eggs.
For a $600/night property, this level of service is unacceptable. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I expect a much higher standard of hospitality.
O hotel é maravilhoso. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. A localização é perfeita, pois fica a 5 minutos a pé do Central Park.
Reservamos um quarto com banheira, porém, não recebemos o quarto reservado. Na chegada ao hotel, nos foi informado que as acomodações com banheira são para pessoas portadoras de necessidades especiais. O booking não deixou isso claro no momento da reserva.

Asked for curling iron from housekeeping; didn't arrive within 1 hr
Of our departure for theater. But a minor problem.
Hotel staff were amazing!
We got the “atrium suite which is beautiful but probably not the best room for a family of 4 BC there’s no pull out sofa beds. The management (Michael and Imran) did the impossible to get us extra beds and make it as comfortable for us. They simply went above and beyond to help us. They could have easily said “tough luck, that’s what you booked”.
Imran even called different hotels and stores to try to get us a newspaper since it was the day after the Knicks won the championship. It’s that kind of amazing customer service that makes me say “wow!!!”
