large room, all the expected amenities and complementaries. bed was large and comfortable and we had a lovely view!
I was not told that parking was not free, and there wasn’t anything while booking that suggested this. while checking in we asked about parking, and as my partner went to park the car I was presented with a card machine and asked to pay. I paid anyway and it wasn’t crazy expensive for the night (£16) but it felt a bit sneaky. we arrived at 8pm and left at 9am.
Room out sight is nice..
They charged 5£ for keep our laggages.

The wardrobe was scratched very badly in the room and it felt unloved
The check-in staff were great. I cannot remember the lady's name (sorry) but she dealt with the idiot in front of me - he was trying to "charm" her into upgrades and freebies etc, but came across as a very immature child.
The room was really good - I was on the 11th floor with a great view.
Apart from slightly dated lifts, and no bar open while i was there on a Sunday, nothing.
Super location close to the shops and the waterfront. The room was clean, comfortable and a nice size.
The facilities could be improved and some of the decor was a little dated.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, always had the same room, (Family) even showed the staff a video of the room I have always been allocated, they tried to tell me that I was always UPGRADED I did notice that None of the staff were familiar I.e. the last few times the staff were the same personnel, anyway I checked out on Sunday (1 day early) and will not be going back.
The location was ideal plus not to far from the stadium a win win

Waiting time for lifts too long, one in three out of order all weekend
The hotel looks tired and needs refurbishing if it wants to continue to attract guests
Comfortable bed
Need to pay 5 pounds to leave your luggage (both at check in as well as checkout...did not encounter this anywhere in the world
Same for every hour you might want to check in earlier.
