Pet-friendly rooms are limited to Standard Rooms (selected Newcastle or Buckingham Rooms) located on the 1st floor and must be reserved in advance. Please contact the hotel to check the availability of pet-friendly rooms.

Please note that dogs will incur an additional charge of CAD 30 per room per night or CAD 90 per week.

If a pet-friendly room is not reserved in advance, the hotel reserves the right to refuse the reservation at the guest's expense.

Please note that this property can accommodate dogs but will not accommodate other types of pets.

Parking is available for CAD 18 per night. Parking availability is not guaranteed until check-in.

There is a small set of stairs on the 1st floor. Guests with mobility requirements are advised to contact the hotel in advance to ensure they are allocated a room on the 2nd floor with elevator access. Loft suites include stairs, with the bathroom located on the main floor, and are not recommended for guests with mobility concerns.

Reservations of 6 or more rooms are considered group bookings and will be subject to group terms and conditions, including cancellation fees. The hotel reserves the right to refuse or request cancellation of any group reservation if a contract agreement is not signed in advance.

A CAD 2.50 per night eco fee is applied to support large-scale carbon reduction projects as part of our sustainability efforts. This fee helps fund conservation and environmental initiatives, verified by Green Step Solutions, ensuring that our environmental footprint is minimized through energy-efficient and eco-friendly practices.

A CAD 0.25 per night fee is applied to support the Indigenous Tourism Destination Fund, which helps fund Indigenous-led tourism projects across Canada.

A Credit Card is mandatory at check-in. A damage deposit of up to CAD 250 is required upon arrival via a credit card. The same will be released at checkout, subject to an inspection of the property.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Overall it was average, the breakfast was average however o would not stay there again.
Pros:

It was very central but also dated.

Cons:

Rooms were outdated and when we checked in there was no one immediately available. While it does not seem long we waited for 2 minutes for someone to come out to counter and service us.

Pros:

The hospitality and cleanliness were great. I also really enjoyed the hotel’s older, historic character, which gave it a unique and charming atmosphere.

Cons:

The bathtub could be replaced, as a newer one would make the bathroom feel cleaner and more comfortable. It would also be nice to have disposable slippers provided in the room.

Grateful for the location
Pros:

Location is excellent. You can walk to everything.

Cons:

The air-conditioner was very noisy and you could hear when other people were showering so the walls seem to be quite thin the property is old

Tolle Lage , wenig gemütlich
Pros:

Das beste an dem Hotel ist die Lage mit kurzem Weg ins Zentrum. Zimmer dunkel und wenig gemütlich, wenig Platz, Vorhänge bzw Lamellen vor dem Fenster sehr abgenutzt. FRühstück zwar mit Ei und Speck/Wurst , aber kein Tomätchen oder Gurke zum wenigen Käse, Obstsalat nur aus Melone und vereinzelt Ananas, kein anderes frisches Obst ( Banane/Apfel oä.) immer die gleiche Erdbeermarmelade, Orangenmarmelade und Ernussbutter.. keine Abwechslung ( waren 3 T da). Bedienung beim FRühstück eher unfreundlich, an der REzeption aber nett. Unser Kühlschrank war defekt, da wurde prompt drauf reagiert und wir haben wegen der Unannehmlichkeiten sogar etas erstattet bekommen. Dennoch insgesamt nicht so toll.

FRühstück war nicht ansprechend s.o. , Personal könnte an der Außenwirkung arbeiten und die Zimmer könnten eine Auffrischung gebrauchen

Cons:

The water pressure was very very weak, and it didn’t have the hand held shower head so making it was inconvenient for senior or guests with disabilities.

Gut gelegenes Stadthotel
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Hafen ist wirklich super, das Hotel hat einen alt-englischen Charme, das Frühstück war nicht gut aber dafür kostenfrei

Cons:

Die Riesen Baustelle (bis 2028) vor der Haustür die sowohl den Blick zum Hafen versperrt als auch für Lärmbelästigung ab min 7 Uhr morgens sorgt, die Wände und Fenster sind sehr dünn, daher hört man sowohl den Straßenverkehr, den Baulärm als auch die Zimmernachbarn, die Fenster kann man nicht richtig öffnen und daher nicht gut lüften, das Frühstück ging so gerade, Sauna ist auf der Seite angegeben kostet aber extra, Parken ist auch kostenpflichtig - könnte man aussetzen wenn die Gäste schon die Baustelle vor der Tür haben.

An excellent place to stay in Victoria
Pros:

The hotel is excellent; the room was spacious and split-level, featuring a living area with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen—complete with appliances, dishes, and cutlery. The bathroom was nice, and everything was spotless. The location is great, allowing you to explore downtown Victoria on foot. Breakfast is very good and extensive, although there is sometimes a wait to be seated.

It was a practical choice and it lived up to our expectations
Pros:

The location was great. An easy walk to Downtown.

Cons:

No parking available for us. Thankfully it was a public holiday so we could park on the street. It’s a little dated but everything was in good working order.

Beautiful location

Bad smell in bathroom off and on .
Bed side lamp would not work . Something wrong with outlet.
Was fixed for a while but didn’t work again shortly after . But there was a prompt service .
