Wished we had a another choice to stay, to enjoy a good night's rest.
Pros:

Toilet flushed; running water; good in room coffee; had complementary toothbrushes; water & snacks were free; finally staying a third time-did receive a room on the east mountain side.

Cons:

The Air Conditioning didn't work good and was very loud-could't rest. The whole machine needs to be changed and/or checked out in room 415. There was no screen with the sliding door balcony. Beds were too soft and uncomfortable. The whole building is old, it's needs a complete make over. The security guard or we think he was; VERY SCARY FREAKY NOSY( is he a child/female predator wearing that grey work shirt with curly-frizzy hair) he was sure watching where/what floor we were going to; plus he was laughing VERY loud when we were checking in to get room key and try to enjoy our one night stay. (Very unprofessional and I think the front check in woman was looking at him like really, "Do you have to be loud/annoying when guest are checking in.") The shower head really sprays water and gets floor very wet. Tub was scary slippery to get in and out. T.V. was very snowy-couldn't enjoy to watch. It was our third time to stay at Nativo Lodge- at first quality was superb-felt safe to park outside/walk in/comforterly stay. Second time all the above started to go down...then this last stay was completely different. As we parked and loading up our luggage a homeless/non-guest of hotel walked by and said hi. Very unwelcoming and made the feeling of safe deplete. Then I am assuming the whole hotel property is smoke free? Someone was sure getting high outside on the hotel balcony. We had our 16 year old niece with us- how professional is this hotel. Smelling the smell just made the hotel free like we were in Krenshaw in California streets. The whole feeling of staying the one night- didn't feel safe, a hotel forgotten about as far as quality-keeping up with security, maintenance, sustainable/sustainability, taking care of the tipi outside, changing out the way the front doors open, make a different way to walk to the tipi area, and what happened to Robert Maribal advertisement. Missed hearing that nice connection.
