Very comfortable clean place to stay
Pros:

Our room was very nice. You could tell that things were fairly new. The room was very clean. The hotel is a bit of a maze so it’s a little odd to get your bearings and get around. They had a very nice courtyard with tables, umbrellas, and chairs, and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and play cards. Breakfast was phenomenal and I would definitely choose a country Inn and suites again.

Cons:

One of our big disappointments was at the pool and hot tub were not working. When your researching hotels and that is one of the things that you want after being on a motorcycle for hours, it gets very disappointing when you get to the hotel and find out that it’s down for repairs and has been for over a month. booking.com was advised of the issue but did not pass that on as we just made our reservations a few weeks ago so we were very disappointed. From now on, I will call the hotels myself to verify that the information is accurate.

A nice place to sleep and get a decent breakfast..call to see if pool is open if thats important

The room was nice and clean. Great pressure in shower. Beds were comfortable,pillows not as much. Staff when we checked in was nice. They are doing some updates so a better look overall.. Breakfast was nice and lots to choose from. Friendly people

Cons:

Pool and hot tub closed and it wasnt advertised as that on booking.com. hotel stated they were informed that pool was being fixed over a month ago..i will always call hotel directly now. Being on motorcycles all day you need a pool. Also the layout of the buildings is kind of weird. Hard to get around. Mostly disappointed on pool and hot tub being down

Really enjoyed staying @ a hotel that was so honest!!
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Having coffee 24/7 was great!! I left my iPad in the room after checking out & thanks to the HONEST cleaning person I received it back. The front desk called & told me before I had left town.

Cons:

Really missed the pool & hot tub. I did receive 10% off my bill. Thanks so much!!

We stayed one night. The price was outrageous for where we were and what was available nearby!
Pros:

It was a clean facility, however, not in a very good part of town and the price was not acceptable.

Cons:

Didn’t like the location. Too far from the downtown area. Busy street which made it very difficult to get out of parking lot.

Disappointed
Pros:

The breakfast was good.

Cons:

Did not find out the pool was closed until I got there. The staff acted like it was my fault for not knowing. They said it was on the website. I booked thru booking.com and there was no mention of it on their site
The room felt damp and there was mold spots on the ceiling.

Good location and convenient parking — it’s a short 18-minute walk to get ice cream, and the breakfasts are good.

Cons:

This hotel doesn’t clean rooms unless you specifically request it — and on Fridays and Sundays, they don’t clean at all. This isn’t mentioned at check-in; there’s just a small sign at the front desk. If you’re tired after arrival and just want to settle in, you’re in for an unpleasant surprise the next day. Requests must also be made before 11:00 AM.

That’s exactly what happened to us. When we insisted on cleaning, the receptionist argued with me, and only backed down once I asked to speak with her manager.

Even when they do clean, it’s done poorly. Out of our whole trip around the peninsula, this was the hotel we liked least. The carpets are very old and the place isn’t clean overall.
