Location
The pool is not included and is super expensive and you have to pay each time you want to use (£20 per person!!!). Room had lots of mould and was badly cleaned. Not many of the staff speak English. Air-con also didn’t work in the room very well and they claimed it’s because we had the curtains open in reality it’s just old.
Needs refurbishing.
Located right next to a major station, this hotel is a perfect base to explore Tokyo and beyond. As a four‑star **property**, it offers everything you would expect: comfortable rooms, plenty of facilities, and good value for the area. I booked a room on the 27th floor and the view over Tokyo was absolutely breathtaking. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast – either buffet or fixed menu – is excellent, with a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options.
We only stayed on a short stopover on our way to the airport. It was clean, staff were polite and helpful. Excellently placed for a short train ride to Haneda airport, slightly longer, but direct ride to Narita airport.
Vegetarian food was difficult to get in the food court☹️

Old hotel, but overall great as they have many facilities and location. Room was clean
I liked where the hotel was situated - right opposite Shinagawa station. Was attached/connected to a mall which included a food court and a convenience store.
Overall disappointed by the stay. We had opted for 'pay at property' which we were fine to do, we were aware we would have to pay more due to the taxes which was fine, but at the time of payment the eftpos machine stated "includes 5% increase" this worked out to be more than what we had booked to pay for. The hotel staff couldnt explain it, she rang customer service of eftpos machine who also couldn't help. There was no resolution to this - everyone was tired from travelling all day. Had tried to negotiate holding onto my card until they had the answers and letting us check in to get elderly mum and 2 kids in to rooms but staff said no leaving me no real choice but to pay and no explanation for what the 5% was that I was paying for. There was no follow up! We stayed there for 3 nights, and no one ever came back to me to explain what the 5% was for. Had a situation where I forgot my room key in the room, had asked if someone could help me with the elevator - but was told to ring my partner who was in the room with the 2 kids. This just so happened to be the morning of checking out and he was in the shower. Tried to ask a second staff member, but no luck and I was left waiting/wasting time. Charging points are all one sided, the room itself felt outdated that there were no usb charging points. We were pleased that there were 2 pools to use with the heat and something nice for our kids to do but only to find it was costly to use.
