Besides the alarm everything went well !!
Pros:

The breakfast was great !!

Cons:

The fire alarm went off @ 1:30 am @ we all needed to leave the building , management did not say anything to any one , took a long time for fire trucks to come to find out some guest pulled the alarm .😣

Good hotel
Pros:

We were there on the fourth if July. The front desk staff were very nice, the room was clean, the breakfast was good and there was an IHOP on the site.

Cons:

The bathroom door wouldn’t close. We told them and they said they would fix it.b

Low expectations met!
Pros:

I didn’t expect much from a Fairfield property. That said, this place lived up to those low expectations. The room was basic and a little worn down with an aroma of sweaty socks! I didn’t try the included breakfast buffet. The one redeeming element of this property is the fact that it’s attached to an IHOP restaurant (which opens at 7am unfortunately)…Instead of trying the hotel buffet I ordered takeout from IHOP and walked thru an interior lobby door to grab it (ie I didn’t have to step outside in the rain). The area right around the hotel was a working class community shopping area w strip malls, a Chipotle, a supermarket and other stores nearby. There’s also a Days Inn/Super 8 motel next door. The worst part is that I stayed at the start of the Memorial Day weekend travel period so demand-pricing kicked in in the DMV area and I paid a ridiculous rate of $240+ tax for one night!
