I loved the location! My husband enjoyed the breakfast. We both loved the fact our room was on the first floor!!!! We tried the free shuttle to Market Square. It was great at drop off. The pick up was not so much. Downtown was a little shady and scary. Loved our stay!

The inside of the hotel was clean. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Kudos to the kitchen staff for restocking and keep food warm and cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly. The evening snacks and drink. Also the complimentary waters at the front desk.
The outside of the hotel and the surrounding area was definitely different than the pictures. The shuttle to and from airport was almost never available and there was a 45 minute wait for the next one. We had take Ubers to and from airport. Which was not in our plans. After asking, it seemed that we were sharing it with another neighboring hotel, along with the pool that was advertised. San Antonio temps were in 100s. The room didn't get cool until the middle of the night or early morning. Additionally, we like to shower each each day and night. There were not enough towels for three adults in one room. Though the front desk attendant on the first night readily gave us extras. The attendant on the second night was hesitant to provide as many. Luckily we were leaving the next day. Also; the sink in not in the bathroom.
Staff is always friendly. Every time we're in San Antonio we stay at this hotel.
