The front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The front desk did not make a notation that we requested and were granted a late check out.
We were told our room was going to be ready at 3pm, we were then told to come back at 4pm. We then were told our room wasn’t ready but should be ready in 10-15 minutes an hour later still no room. With no offer of a refund. After and hour and 15 minutes the staff was able to find us another room. Mind you we had a concert to be at. Overall very frustrating
I loved the vanity in the room, that was super helpful when trying to get ready at the same time as my fiance.
At check in, the girl Jazmin, who helped us was extremely rude to us, and the person before us. It did look like she was the only one who was expected to answer phones and check in people to the hotel at the same time, which I could understand would be stressful, but it is not the customers fault. She asked for our license plate info to log for parking, and my fiance asked where we were supposed to park, as we were just in front of the main doors with the car on. We've never been there and weren't familiar with where the lot was located. She ignored his question and said "it doesn't matter where if I don't get your plate information because you will be ticketed." At this point she had my license, and handed it back to me and her demeanor was so rude, it was so uncomfortable. She then told me about the $25 incidental fee and said it so quickly and quietly, I said "i'm sorry could you repeat that?" and said again, rudely "if you damage the room" so I just slid my card and that was that. Then she paused and didn't say anything for a minute, and then just walked away. As she was walking away I asked, "so am I all set then..?" and she just yelled "yep" and kept walking. It was the weirdest interaction I have had with checking into a hotel. Maybe it was just an off day for her but it was super off putting at the beginning of our stay. Everything else was good though, we enjoyed our stay after and the room was perfect for what we needed it for.

I wasnt able to connect my phone or have youtube on the tv. Bathroom needs a vent
very clean quiet room price was high but that's all it and or anything in Grand Rapids downtown walking distance was nice to go to the amphitheater
all the shuttles to the concert were booked
