Very Disappointed
Pros:

The location

Cons:

Very old and run down. Way over priced for what you get. Staff doesn't work with you to reschedule when something happens so you either have to use the room on a day you don't need it anymore or are just out $350. Was VERY UNHAPPY with the WHOLE experience. Won't be going back there again.

Pros:

Great central downtown location.

Cons:

Hot tub looked like it needed cleaned, our AC unit had a horrible ticking noise while running.

It was a wonderful stay from check in to check out
Pros:

I love Grand Rapids and all that it has to offer and this hotel is in the middle of it all, walking distance to main restaurants and close to the water which I love, the only issue we had no regular coffee just decaf but I did see one of the housekeeper in the hallway and she was kind enough to provide me with some regular ones

Pros:

Room was very clean. Staff members were friendly and very helpful. Parking was great and shuttle driver was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The restaurant within the hotel only had one cook and one waitress on duty. I know it was a Sunday night but the hotel was sold out due to there being a big concert that night and I feel the restaurant should be staffed accordingly. We were waiting to be seated for over 10 minutes and never saw a staff member so we walked in and sat at the bar, The bartender was friendly and very helpful. We ended up being able to grab a quick meal at the bar and get to our concert on time. I'm not sure that the restaurant has anything to do with the hotel but that was the only negative part of our stay.

Pros:

The location and shuttle service was great. All staff was really nice and helpful.

Cons:

Restaurant food was horrible. We ordered the steak and we joked that it looked fake. The entire dish had no taste or seasoning whatsoever. WE had to dump A1 on everything to even eat it.

We had a very lovely stay.
Pros:

The location is great and we could walk to the venue. We have stayed here before and really like it. Breakfast bar is really good as well.

Cons:

This is a great hotel. It's comfortable and we sleep really well. Our room this time however had an aroma in it that was akin to a teenage boys bedroom or locker room. I believe the carpet might need shampooing. RM 326. Otherwise it was excellent.
