Sky Nights Hotel London Heathrow

Room was incredibly hot and it was hard to get luggage to the room as the stairs are steep and very narrow.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our first impression happened before we even entered the building. The front desk attendant was parked next to us, and when he opened his vehicle door, he hit our car. He appeared to be smoking marijuana in his vehicle and did not apologize or even acknowledge hitting our car. It was an incredibly unprofessional way to begin our stay.

Unfortunately, things did not improve once we got inside. The hotel itself is very run-down, and our room clearly had not been cleaned properly. There was visible dust throughout the room, and we found hair on the linens that appeared to be from a previous guest. That alone made us question the cleanliness of the entire room.

The bathroom was another problem. The shower would not drain properly, which caused water to build up and spill onto the bathroom floor while showering. It made an already unpleasant room even more frustrating.

We only stayed because we had a very early flight the following morning and needed somewhere to sleep for the night. Had we been staying longer, we would have looked for another hotel.

Based on the poor cleanliness, lack of maintenance, plumbing problems, and the unprofessional experience with the staff upon arrival, I would never stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others.

It was really hot and the fans didn’t work

We've been there when it was really hot and the air con seemed to cause a lot of trouble. The one in the room above us was causing a leak right above our door which caused a mouldy smell. The air con in the second room I got for my sister had a total meltdown and was leaking water until the second day when the hotel sent someone to fix it.

The hotel was very noisy as it is situated on a busy road. The room also had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. There was a small fan provided, but unfortunately it did very little to cool the room.
I was told I would have to pay £20 to upgrade to a room with air conditioning, although this was later reduced to £10. I did not feel this was fair, particularly given the hot weather. I would have expected the hotel to ensure that all rooms were adequately prepared and comfortable for the conditions.
