The check in staff was amazing!
The room was a HUGE disappointment. The carpet had stains and the carpet between the beds was soaking wet. The bathroom has mold on the ceiling, lots of mold. Can show pictures. The cover for light fixture was missing; the bathroom door had peeling paint. The overall vibe of the hotel was delayed militance. Great location and could be a gem if taken care of. Night staff we not friendly at all.
The staff are absolutely wonderfully gracious people. They were pleasant and very helpful. The employees at this hotel are what made me score it as high as I did. Everyone was working incredibly hard to keep this outdated property as well maintained as they could with what they had.
The room was well appointed with a microwave and a refrigerator. The decor in the bedroom and bath was nice and modern. It was very clean.
The mattress was so comfortable, that I took a picture of the brand. I want one for home.
The property is in definite need of maintenance and updated in certain areas.
The ceiling in the bath needed painting and the safety handle in the shower needed to be secured. The doors to the rooms remind me of a prison i.e. plain, flat, gray steel.
The breakfast was inedible. I hate that the staff wasted their efforts to put it out. The eggs were so dry that the first bite got stuck in my throat. The sausage was a dull gray color. The juice dispenser did not work. I grabbed a packet of mustard. It was a dried up lump when squeezed out.
The pool needed to be swept. All of the pool furniture was old and rusted. The cushions were falling apart.
Not much. Breakfast was not great.
Had lack of urgency for getting missing hair dryer. After calling desk to request a replacement dryer, had to go down and insist they locate one.
Location was safe

This property was under renovation yet the website FAILED to specify it. The breakfast was a frozen biscuit and a rotten apple
No coffee. The night shift staff stayed out side due to to the dust of the construction
Do not stay here You have been warned
Location.
The last two visits, last December and yesterday, there are signs everywhere that please pardon the mess it’s “under renovation” but nothing is getting renovated, it’s just a mess. The drinks in the mini fridge across from the check-in desk were out of date and weren’t even cool. Only one ice machine that we could find in the hotel was working. Just not a good stay.
The worst experience ever at thisproperty . They did not tell you they are under construction when you book. Pool locked due to algae, mold in most rooms, should be closed, tape covering electrical outlets, rooms not locking due to faulty system. Everyone there never coming back. Have stayed there for 30 years and will never go back. Need to be closed until they can reopen with upgrades. Shut it down. Send someone out there and check it out
Did not eat breakfast for the hotel online service was down and they could not give us out room.
I NEED A REFUND FROM YOU!!!!!!!
Their system was down, and therefore we could not check in at all, so therefore I need a refund from Booking.com.
Location
I didn't know there were renovations and no hot breakfast. Also the swimming pool wasn't open
I travel constantly for work and have stayed in hundreds of Hilton properties over the years. This may be the only Hampton Inn where I wasn’t sure if I had checked into a hotel or accidentally wandered onto an active construction site.
The renovation has apparently been going on since roughly the invention of concrete. Judging by other reviews, guests have been reporting the same issues for months, which was oddly comforting. Misery really does love company.
There was no breakfast. No housekeeping during my three-night stay. My room key stopped working halfway through. Construction workers marched around as if paying guests were simply an unexpected obstacle in their workday.
The highlight of my stay came while I was trying to relax at the pool. A homeless gentleman wandered into the pool area and struck up a conversation with me. Nice enough guy, actually. If I had stayed another night, I assume he would have been eligible for Hilton Honors points.
The truly frustrating part is that none of this was disclosed before I booked. Had the website simply said, “We’re operating as a construction project that occasionally rents rooms,” I would have appreciated the honesty and booked somewhere else.
The staff deserves credit. Every employee I encountered was courteous, apologetic, and clearly trying to make the best of a situation they didn’t create. My frustration is with ownership, not the people working the front desk.
If you’re looking for a Hampton Inn experience, keep driving. If you’ve always wondered what it would be like to vacation inside a renovation project while testing the limits of hotel security, you’ve found your place.
Closeness to attractions.
Hotel was under renovations and I was not informed. The bag breakfast was not good as the breakfast area was being renovated. Floor of the shower was dirty and the room had been recently renovated.
NOWHERE on the app or website is it disclosed that this property is undergoing extensive renovations. Hilton, what a complete disaster. We will not be back.
The staff that I saw were friendly.
The hotel lobby was under construction. There was no place to sit other than the room. The gym was not available. Breakfast was given in a brown bag. Coffee was cold. Nobody was at front desk for long stretches. Upon checking in, I was not told that I was being charged so I walked away not knowing if my card went through or not. There was no guide for the television channels, no way for me to access my Netlix account. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom, no closet, the room was small. Will not stay here again.
Staff was courteous. Coffee in main lobby was good & accessible at all times
Unfortunately, the entire building was under renovations. When reservations were made there was notice of the renovations/construction was being performed. If so, we may have opted to stay elsewhere as we were in the area from out of state for a family wedding. Facility did offer a bagged breakfast which was adequate but disappointing.
It appeared our room was renovated with finishing touches nit complete. It was also a tight fit for 2 queen beds & the table & 2 chairs.
No attempt seemed to be made to control the dust & debris. I have been in other locations where renovations were being made & plastic sheets were being used in an attempt to lessen dirt & debris.
What a nightmare! Under construction, lobby in shambles, section of town /location is too busy, noisy snd sketchy people hanging out in parking lot. Do not feel safe leaving my car overnight!
Room is tiny, cramped, poor layout no closet.
Breakfast will be a sack of prepacked food? Really ?!!!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE.
No where when you book does it tell you this place is under renovations (apparently it is taking YEARS according to the reviews). I should have read the reviews first, but it's a Hilton property and I usually never have an issue. We had to go outside, down stairs, around a dirty sidewalk to the lower level, which was filthy, then up the elevators to our room. Digital key did not work. Rooms are very tiny. The room itself was clean and on the surface looked like maybe it had been recently renovated, but upon closer inspection, it was done a while ago. My card was charged (not just a hold - actually charged) upon check in for $76.26 OVER the room rate, which never happens. That was Tuesday night. I was told it would be corrected by the time we checked out on Wednesday morning. I am still waiting. I could understand the hold for "incidentals", but there weren't any available. Lobby was completely a mess, no breakfast available, the ice machine wasn't even plugged in on our floor, there was no minibar lol. The "pantry" wasn't available either, so what was I gonna charge extra to my room? And why such an odd amount???? Still waiting for explanations. Loved the close proximity to the Kirklin Clinic, but not sure about going back.
Well. The ac was great.
Under construction. Breakfast was a bagged thing. . Not good. . Always walking through drywall dust etc. Should have been told about the construction before check in. . Parking was difficult. We paid for 2 nights left at 6pm on before 2nd night.
Paid $163 dollars to stay here……worth about $50. Contractors working right outside our window, hotel front doors stayed wide standing open all day. Flies in the lobby, muffin and stale biscuit in a to-go sack , to much furniture in the tiny room. Done with Hampton Inn !!!
