Die Unterkunft bzw. das Hotel selbst war grundsätzlich schön, allerdings waren wir vom Service leider sehr enttäuscht.

Dass für das Parken zusätzlich 34 $ pro Tag verrechnet werden, haben wir bei der Buchung leider übersehen – trotzdem hätten wir uns vor Ort zumindest eine freundliche Erklärung zum Ablauf gewünscht. Beim Check-in bekamen wir keinerlei Informationen darüber, wo sich was befindet oder wie das Parken funktioniert.

Leider war das Personal insgesamt sehr unfreundlich und auf jede Frage kamen nur sehr kurze, wenig hilfreiche Antworten. Gerade in den USA sind wir normalerweise einen deutlich freundlicheren Umgang gewohnt und in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie hätten wir das überhaupt nicht erwartet. Das macht leider keinen guten Eindruck und passt nicht zum Namen des Hotels.

Failed to meet my expectations of the Hilton brand.
Pros:

I liked the bar on the first floor and the Universal Studios ticket agent in the lobby

Cons:

The room smelled kind of bad, strange stains on the bedspread, mold above the mirror in the bathroom, useless shower curtain in the bathroom, one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on, my shoulder still hurts. Parking was a nightmare because they were paving the main road in front of the hotel and the entire non-valet parking complement of the hotel was jammed into one parking lot. When I arrived there was a guy smoking pot in the designated smoking area, which turned me right off and I almost left.

Great facilities and location
Pros:

Pool, food options were great, bedrooms and bathrooms were a nice size, great breakfast options

Cons:

It would’ve been nice if staff explained the nightly incidental charge upfront, as that’s not common where I’m from, but they clarified it when I asked.

La habitación es amplia y cómoda.
