Walkable to Universal. Hakeem was amazing at check-in!! The breakfast & staff was awesome.

The elevator wait time was ridiculous especially when they have 3. Buttons were missing inside panels and you had to go up before you could come down, it was awful. The rooms need an upgrade.

Good location, but several unexpected charges and missed details

I really liked that the hotel was very close to the theme parks, which made it easy to travel back and forth each day. The room was clean and well-kept, and the location wasn’t too busy, which made for a comfortable stay.

The staff were great and answered any questions I had. I also appreciated that they checked in via text message to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything else we needed.

Cons:

I was disappointed that we had to pay for parking, as I don’t believe this was clearly explained on the website. It only mentioned that parking was available, which led me to assume it was included in the stay.

I also found it unexpected that breakfast was not included in the room price and required an additional fee.

Another issue was communication around the shuttle. We were not informed that we needed to stop by a specific desk to arrange it, even though we had shared the purpose of our visit at check-in.

Additionally, I had requested a card for our anniversary. It didn’t need to be anything elaborate—just a simple note on hotel stationery would have been fine. I was disappointed that this wasn’t provided, as I like to keep small items like that for memory keeping.

We were given complimentary water, but it didn’t feel like anything particularly special.

Overall, while the stay was acceptable, I would say it lacked the small extra touches and clearer communication that would have made it feel more welcoming.
