The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the patio
I didn't like the fact that we was denied a POOL key two days in a row. Was told "They was all giving out and that they was sorry. Also the breakfast was only donuts and pastries for the price of the room for three days. Just an inconvenience of a stay would not recommend to anyone
Raven at the front desk is amazing!! She was so helpful to us many times! She is friendly, funny and very professional.
Rooms were spotless and smelled amazing.
Despite the construction, the grounds are beautiful.
I thought the restaurant was going to be full service. Short hours and very limited menu. Loved having a Starbucks there.
No hot tub as pictured in advertisement.
When did they decide to not bother with art on the walls? Walls so thin the toddler speaking in a normal voice could be plainly heard?
No decaf in the room or in the lobby?
"A la carte" breakfast ($15 for 2 eggs).
So, shower was hot, parking available, front desk manned, the basics were met. But is this the new Courtyard Marriott? Marriott? I'm not impressed.
Room was clean
They were remodeling so parking was hard
Very clean and friendly
Paid for a suite but was given a regular room.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Would book again if construction was done.
Construction. Had to go outside and around the hotel to do anything. Part of the day there was no water. Was not informed about the construction when booked and was given no discount. Breakfast not included; the on-site bistro’s prices were high and limited options.
The fruit was moldy had to throw out staff was not friendly at all
The staff was very rude and unprofessional
Desperately needs a renovation! I was charged double the rate booking through Marriot even though I’m a bonvoy member !!
As the hotel knows exactly when the local universities have events and purposely doubles and triples the hotels rates for the exact same dumpy room they my next door room neighbor who I could hear every word through the thin walls told me they paid!!!!
It was very clean and neat.
Nothing
No issues during my stay...
Good stay , I’m a regular guest.
I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again when I'm in town. Clean, convenient, and safe.
We weren’t given any information about the hotel when we checked in
I booked my reservation at this hotel in January '25 for a stay in late September '25. The purpose of the stay was to visit my SU freshman for parents weekend. Three days prior to check-in date, the hotel informed me, via email, that there was system glitch causing them to overbooked, and as a result my reservation would be cancelled. A dubious explanation at best. Good news though, I was told they found me a room at a "comparable" hotel for the same rate. The so called "comparable" hotel was 40 miles away and was not a Marriot property. Not wanting to stay 40 miles away for this important weekend, I decided to find and book a room at another Marriott property in Syracuse. Unfortunately, due to the short notice, the full price for that two night stay was $1,900 more than my original reservation amount. The GM at the Courtyard Carrier Circle refuses to reimburse us for that difference, relying on the Marriot policy, apparently, that a stay at a "comparable" hotel is the extent of their obligation, and, evidently, what qualifies as "comparable" is entirely at their discretion. Marriott corporate will take no responsibility for the matter either, so I am out $1,900. To be fully transparent - the GM at Courtyard Carrier Circle did offer a future two night stay and an additional 2500 Bonvoy points (worth roughly $10 I think). Neither of these added offers addressed the underlying need, however, which was two nights in a hotel, somewhere near Syracuse. I realize this practice of hotel "walking" is not necessarily illegal - or even all that rare unfortunately - but the fact that hotels can do this indiscriminately is just bananas to me.
