My 5th stay at Trident Chennai. For a reason.
Pros:

Trident Chennai is a well oiled machine, with a happy face. Everything runs like clockwork, and the people look like they know it, and are enjoying the fact that theirs is a great hotel.

Cons:

Aside from the coffee shop, which has buzz and presence, the other F&B options such as the coastal restaurant and the bar tend to lag behind. The menus aren't imaginative, and if shaken a bit, these two locations would add to the staying experience.
I'd also say that the seamlessness between the lobby area and the coffee shop tend to make the F&B experience a tad noisy.
