Horrible, found a new hotel

There was nothing to like.

Cons:

We ended up not even staying at that hotel, and we went to a different hotel entirely. The hotel is built on a hill, so the entire actual building was off kilter. We were on the top floor, and the room felt like we were on a cruise ship with the feel from the room. The front desk lady said we could try a lower floor, so we went to the second floor. That room smelled so incredibly bad, that we didn’t even take our things in the room. The front lady wouldn’t entertain our request for a refund, and there was no manager on the premises to help us. The hotel itself smelled musty, and the front area furniture was old with peeling faux leather. The elevator was scary to ride, and there was a sign that said only 2 people per ride.

Pros:

The front desk manager was phenomenal. Very accommodating. My 5 year old said his favorite part was the pool.
It was very clean.

Definitely one of my top five experiences. And I travel a lot.

Cons:

We were not a fan of the turkey sausage for the breakfast.
Everything else was perfect.

Great stay in Burlington
Pros:

On of the better Holidsy Inn Express hotels I’ve stayed in. Spotless. Friendly staff. Rooms had nice linens and pillows. Breakfast was good.

Pros:

The room was clean. The bed was really comfy. The AC was awesome. The hotel was really inviting from the outside. Breakfast and staff were wonderful.

Cons:

Mold and mildew in shower needs to be dealt with. Unacceptable.

Loud /Dirty experience
Pros:

I was assigned room 321 at this hotel which is by the pool on a FRIDAY. I could not sleep because of loud voices and shouts till 11pm. I had a long drive and visited a family member in hospital ICU till 8pm and planned to get up early in morning.to go again. I knew the Saturday night WOULD BE JUST AS LOUD, so I asked to change rooms at 2am. I found the bed dirty in this room. This was a lot of stress.
