Nice modern look, great location and good value.
Pros:

Has a modern feel to it in the common facilities. Very central to everything.

Cons:

Hallways were a bit run down and felt dark and somewhat claustrophobic.

A very comfortable stay in a great location.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Even had a lovely view of the river. We opted to have breakfast at the hotel and the food options were delicious, our compliments to the chefs. In fact, all food options, dinner and the food we had as part of the MAANZ Symposium were also delicious.

Very impressed with the level of service and the hospitality at voco Brisbane City
Pros:

We drove to voco from our home in Gladstone some 600+ klms away, our vehicle is a high 4WD so we were anxious that parking might be an issue with clearances. The Duty Manager Paul was so accommodating, recognising we had travelled a considerable distance with young children and offered us a spot at the off- street entrance of the hotel. You can't imagine how helpful this was, we were so grateful for his excellent service. The staff at the voco were all very helpful, Ivan at the front desk was very friendly and super helpful. The restaurant staff and other staff were just so pleasant, we also visited the adjacent hotel Indigo Bar - Izakaya Publico for Happy Hour and enjoyed a light meal with live entertainment on the Friday night, which really set the mood for the long weekend. The location of the hotel was an easy walk to Queen Street Mall and a quick walk to Southbank over the bridge, which meant we could get around easily with the young children and elderly parents. Highly recommend voco Brisbane City.

Cons:

The pool was not easy for young children to swim but this was a very small issue. We still had a nice relax in the cabanas and ordered a light snack and drinks to the pool area with ease.

Excellent!!
Pros:

Being able to check in after arriving from the Airport early was greatly appreciated.

Room and bathroom were clean and tidy, bed and pillows were comfortable.

Very little road noise and within walking distance to everything.

Nice central location
Pros:

View from the room was great. King suite with River View
Breakfast was really good
Manager gave me a very late checkout which was helpful as I wasn’t feeling well and had a late flight

Cons:

Very small room. Ok for single
Pillows were way too bulky. I asked for something softer and flatter. What they gave me was there same pillow stuffed into in a smaller pillow slip and it was rockhard. ( nice try ) 😏. I spent the 4 nights sleeping with the chair cushion as my pillow

Great hotel which suited our needs. The staff at check-in were very friendly.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing. One of the best we've had. There was a very large choice of both fresh and cooked food and many options for vegetarians and even a gluten free bar. I loved the fact that they had extra crockery for young children.

Cons:

This has happened in the past (at other hotels) but when three people stay in a double room staff should add an extra glass/cup and spoon for the third person in the booking prior to check-in.
