Home away from home
Pros:

Right from the beginning, entering the beautiful lobby seeing the spectacular waterfall and immaculately clean space I was greeted by a very familiar face and so happy to see her again Miss Wanda.. I was checked in by another associate very quickly even though I was slightly early. They were so sweet to find a room available and get me situated. I always enjoy staying at this property. The restaurants are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the view from almost any floor is outstanding.. This particular Hilton is always extremely accommodating with the friendliest staff… it always feels like a home away from home.

Terribly rude
Pros:

I’d encourage anyone considering this hotel to think twice. While the room itself was acceptable, the customer service was some of the worst I’ve experienced at a Hilton property.

Some of the staff, specifically Michelle, was shockingly rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Every interaction felt like I was bothering her simply for asking normal questions. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt talked down to and dismissed. Hospitality is literally the foundation of the hotel industry, and there was absolutely none here.

It’s disappointing because the rooms were perfectly adequate, but one employee’s attitude completely overshadowed the stay. A clean room doesn’t make up for being treated poorly. There was zero warmth, zero professionalism, and zero effort to make guests feel valued.

I won’t be returning, and I sincerely hope management takes guest feedback seriously because no one should leave a Hilton feeling like they’re an inconvenience.

Will not be returning.
Pros:

For it being a Hilton, it lacked Hilton qualities. The housekeeping was the only amazing part of this stay. Our room was clean, made up daily and the housekeeping staff were the only friendly staff in the place. Checking in I was “scolded” for my name not matching my Hilton rewards exactly, we were on a higher floor, and had to go down 6 floors to get ice if needed. Construction was done right above us, majority of day on our last day we intended as restful and recharge before heading home. Elevators were so slow running and several times people were stuck in them. We will not be back, and advise anyone else to go elsewhere. This is not an enjoyable experience.

Easy to get to airport gem.
Pros:

This hotel was referred to my by family in the area as being close as well able to easily accommodate my group. We were handled by Julissa who was warm, efficient, and through. We even had a early check in and a late checkout and she made it effortless! Koodos for her as a teammate. This does not take away from everyone at the front desk. I look forward to coming back in the future as well recommend the hotel. The only miss is that the hotel lobby surfaces need to be maintained better. A deep clean as well Nick's and chips can easily be repaired. Step up! But overall for a large facility the upkeep was good.

Crusty Musty Dusty
Pros:

Arrived at midnight and the garage was sketchy and the signage to the hotel was vague. Ended up going through a dumpster area to find stairs into the lobby. Hallway carpets decaying from mold or something. Room smelled musty. Vents are clogged with dust, lights rusted, line ends were dingy, carpets were filthy and the locker was that the shower was a little trickle. We were moved to another room but the receptionist rolled her eyes at me.

Dated
Pros:

This Hilton location is extremely dated and in need of a major renovation, which I believe is in the works in their top floors.
- The elevators were extremely slow. The down button was always lit and never called the elevator, so I figured out that I had to press the up button to call the elevator so that I can press the lobby button to go down once i got into the elevator.
- The elevator to the pool wasn't working. So you have to use the stairs
- The ice machine on my floor was out of service, so I had to go to a different floor to get ice.
- They charge $18 per day to park in the lot. And, you really need a car to get to this hotel, so make sure to factor that price in to your stay.
- The room itself was fine. Nothing special. It was extremely dated, but clean.

My lovely stay at the Hilton in East Brunswick
Pros:

As we pulled up in our vehicle, my husband and I both smiled. After an extremely long day and hot weather, we seen a large sprout of beautiful cold water. I am handicap, and we were able to park right in front of the hotel, straight into the lobby. The lobby was beautiful, clean and very bright. The front desk clerk was very nice and got us booked in and settled in just a few minutes which was great because we were tired. Our room was so nice and cozy, as well as clean and home feeling. The hotel is large, yet, very quiet and serene. This is definitely a luxury hotel, but at an affordable price. I will be returning and recommending all my friends and family to stay here.
Thank you
God Bless the Hilton Family

Toilet explosion
Pros:

Started off with the toilet screaming for an hour after every single time you flush it, then it got clogged and started overflowing and my bathroom had an inch of water in it. Then it took 4 phone calls to the front desk for them to finally send someone after 15 minutes. Then to clean it he was wringing towels full of toilet water inside of our shower, he finally said it was clean meanwhile it was still covered in water and the outside of the toilet was still wet. We asked him if it completely clean and he said yes but the whole bathroom was still completely soaked. Overall a terrible experience and don’t wish this on anyone.

Worst Hilton experience I ever had
Pros:

A/C didn’t work in first room. Engineering made it worse. They gave me a new room, but I had to move myself. In the morning, Housekeeping skipped my room. Front desk called them in front of me. When I returned to the room 4 hrs later, they had left me towels, but still hadn’t made up the room.

I got them to reduce my bill but more problems arose.

The property really needs updating. The rooms are in bad shape. More than once, some elevators were not running.

The staff was pleasant but totally ineffective at solving problems.

Will not be returning.

Professional convention service
Pros:

I was here for a student convention as a teacher advisor. Everyone on the staff was very courteous and professional. Must be difficult to cater to 500 high school students and they did it with ease. I received a smile and hello from every staff member. Cleaning services were amazing. The staff in the banquet hall were exceptional at all times. I have stayed at many hotels for functions like this and I have never had such excellent service.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Hosted a conference for high school students, and staff was incredibly helpful. They volunteered to move luggage up the stairs for over an hour and asked for nothing in return. The hotel staff continued to go out of their way to help us and we had a very positive experience.

Comfortable Getaway in Central NJ
Pros:

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Esat Brunswick while visiting family in the area. From check in to check out our stay was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the surrounding area. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and found the food to be really good and a good value for a hotel this size. We read quite a few reviews both good and bad and decided to take one for the team as they say. Seems the hotel is going through renovations so we can't wait to come again. The pool was absolutely refreshing, and the exercise rooms were well equipped with modern machines. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Also would like to recognize Wanda at the front desk. She was so friendly and so helpful suggesting local attractions and restaurants. Thank you Wanda!!!

Traveling for a dance competition. It was average.
Pros:

This was our first time traveling here. It wasn't hard to find however it is literally by nothing. If the hotel restaurant wasn't open you absolutely had to drive a bit or order door dash. I requested a mini fridge on our reservation, which we did not get. Room was dusty, smart water bottle behind couch, old cookie aside of the couch and the pull out bed was full of mold on the underneath. Elevators were slow with the amount of people there. It was a place to rest our heads but not overly exciting. The staff we interacted with was nice and when we requested sheets for the sofa bed and extra towels those were given pretty quickly no questions asked.

A Place Like No Other
Pros:

If you want to go to a hotel where the carpets saw Y2K, this hotel is for you. Do you like trying to pack up and leave a hotel with only one elevator working, where an elevator malfunctioned the day before. Then stay here. The light in the room must be a mood, hardly any. The woman at the front desk was the rudest customer service person I ever met. Nothing nice came out of her mouth. If you like to be talked to in a condescending tone, stay at this Hilton. Also, if you like security who resemble the people you want security from, this is your place. The parking lot was also wonderful. If you parked on the first floor, you had to use stairs. Packing up was so fun after you walked down stairs since the elevator wasn’t coming and not a single stair case went straight to the lobby, it was a true labyrinth. Then there was no elevator to the lower parking level whose stairs were narrow. Getting a suitcase down them was so fun. The only good thing was the housekeeping staff. Staying at this Hilton was a true experience. One I never need again! But, it may be for you!

Terrible Experience at Check-In – Unacceptable Staff Behavior
Pros:

While checking in at this hotel, my three-year-old son was playing nearby under my supervision. A female staff member approached me and immediately demanded that my child stop. She then threatened to call the police and have us removed from the hotel.

My child was not being disruptive, loud, or unsafe. The threat was completely unjustified and deeply upsetting. Using intimidation and the threat of law enforcement against a family over a toddler’s normal behavior is unacceptable.

This incident occurred before we even received our room keys and seriously impacted our perception of the hotel. It raises serious concerns about staff training, customer service, and how families are treated.

I would strongly caution families with young children before choosing this hotel.

Convention Hotel, Just Fine
Pros:

Stayed 2 nights due to a dance competition. It was fine. Nothing was horrible, nothing was great. Positives were the beds were comfy, curtains kept the room dark for sleeping, rooms spacious. Lots of common areas for group gathering. Microwave in the lobby for guest use. The waiters at the breakfast buffet were friendly. My daughter loved the buffet with the make your own waffle station. $23/adult, $15/kids approx. for breakfast. A/C in our room was decent.

Negatives: safe didn't work, one of the outlets next to the bed didn't work which is a real pain because 2 people can't charge phones. The menu at the restaurant is very limited and basic, they are missing a revenue opportunity especially during a weekend convention. If your room is ready early they want to impose an early check-in fee which is just a money grab. For me when a hotel has a room ready before guaranteed check-in time it becomes a perk and a positive part of my stay. Starts your trip off on a nice note! Being asked for a fee when you know the room is ready and sitting there empty starts you off on a negative nickel and diming note. especially for a hotel like this that is in need of a renovation, why not give your guests a perk that doesn't cost you anything and enhance their experience? Ice machines are on 6th and 8th floors but the one on the 6th floor is broken. You don't find out until you take an elevator ride and walk down the hall. Hotel should inform guests at check-in or post a sign on each floor. Just annoying. Elevators were delayed at times but probably because of the large convention taking place. Pillow are old and dingy, need replacing ASAP. The food at the "Starbucks" could use an upgrade. The snacks at the front desk "shop" were terrible - all kinds of weird flavors of chips. Again, another opportunity for them to offer a variety and make more money on snacks.

Overall it's fine, I had to stay here and if it's cheap enough and convenient to whatever you're doing, it's find. But they would benefit from a renovation.
