Fantastic Hotel and would highly recommend LHP Palace Hotel and Spa -5*
Pros:

Fantastic 5* Hotel, would highly recommend the LHP Palace hotel and spa, the location was perfect for seeing Montecatini and also central for travelling to and from Pisa and Florence. The team of staff offer an amazing service for the guests and really make your stay perfect. The spa and the rooftop pool is also really worth visiting during the stay. Also would highly suggest staying on the superior suite's with jaccuzi in the room with balconies which have stunning views of the Tuscan Hills. Breakfast was fantastic too with a big spread of food everyday. A big thank you to Angelica and Gomathi who arranged a fabulous stay for our special occasion trip with friends. A truly memorable trip and visit to Montecatini perfect in everyway.

A brilliant celebration made wonderful by the warmth of all the staff
Pros:

The staff are amazing, especially the receptionists Angelica and Gompathi who couldn’t have been more helpful in ensuring that everything we needed was there. We were a large party celebrating an 80th and 90th birthday party, and had a wonderful stay. Lovely rooftop pool. Great spa area.

Cons:

I think that the bar downstairs would have benefited from someone staffing it in the afternoon as it was a lovely cool area to relax in

Disappointing experience-not a 5 star Stay

Disappointing Experience – Not a Five-Star Stay

We booked a Standard/Deluxe room at this five-star hotel for three nights, expecting and looking forward to the level of comfort and service associated with a five-star establishment. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of those expectations.

The hotel itself is contemporary, attractive and well maintained, but our room was extremely cramped, with virtually no space for our luggage. We specifically booked an extra-large bed, yet the bed provided felt like a standard double. The bathroom was equally cramped, with very little room to move and nowhere practical to hang wet towels after showering.

More disappointing was the level of service and attention to detail. Our booking indicated that bathrobes and slippers would be provided, yet there were no bathrobes in the room and we had to request them. There was also no complimentary drinking water. We found ourselves having to argue simply to obtain water for the room, which is something we would never expect at a hotel positioning itself as five-star. Also bath towels are old and has seen better days. Again, one expect fluffy towels at a 5 star hotel.

Housekeeping was also inconsistent and rather sloppy. On our final day, one of our coffee cups had been removed and was simply not replaced. These may seem like small details, but it is precisely attention to these details that distinguishes a five-star hotel from a four-star establishment.

We have been fortunate to stay in many five-star hotels around the world, so we are familiar with the level of accommodation, service and attention to detail that this classification normally represents. Sadly, we did not experience that here.

Perhaps the Standard/Deluxe rooms are treated as the "stepchildren" of the hotel, because throughout our stay we felt undervalued as guests. Regardless of the room category booked, guests paying five-star rates should receive five-star service.

Ho alloggiato nella suite 104 era incantevole spaziosa pulitissima..accogliente, la vasca idromassaggio stupenda, bagno spazioso, doccia grande, terrazzo privato con jacuzzi privata, personale disponibilissimo, piscina al 5 piano bellissima. Lo consiglio vivamente

Pros:

Ottima struttura alberghiera 5 stelle situata nel cuore di Montecatini Terme. Abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale,in particolare della Signora Angelica alla Reception. Ci teniamo inoltre a sottolineare l'ottimo ristorante annesso all' albergo ove si può assaporare un'ottima cucina condita da cortesia e grande professionalità. Insomma tutto ottimo.

Die Lage war zentral. Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen Suite mit Balkon. Parkhaus war gut.

Cons:

Er ging een hoop mis. De jacuzzi werkte niet naar behoren, mijn pas om de kamer in te gaan deed het niet. Bij aankomst gekozen voor de valet parking service. Uiteindelijk heb ik zelf de auto naar de garage moeten rijden, met iemand van het personeel achterin. Hetzelfde voor het ophalen van de auto.

Geen wifi, slecht onderhouden kamers en een al met al zeer karig ontbijt.

Massage was wel goed maar daar blijft het dan ook bij.
