Superbo
Pros:

This was a truly unique experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Sleeping on a pineapple plantation—the only one of its kind in Europe—is something we will never forget.

Everything was spotless. The guided tour of the pineapple plantation was fascinating, and the entire property is peaceful, intimate, and surrounded by birdsong in the morning. The private pool room was outstanding, and the jacuzzi inside the pineapple greenhouse was an absolutely brilliant idea.

The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and we also enjoyed dinner at the cozy on-site restaurant. We appreciated the property’s strong commitment to sustainability, the secure gated parking, and the excellent communication from the staff throughout our stay.

Highly recommended. It was absolutely worth experiencing.

Pros:

Een prachtig hotel op een goede locatie met een schitterend uitzicht over zee. Alles is op en top geregeld. Schoonmaak is uitstekend, het personeel is erg vriendelijk en de faciliteiten top (massage heerlijk). Laat je onderdompelen in de luxe van dit hotel. Het centrum ligt op loopafstand met mooie oude kerken, een park en mooie brug. Ga ook naar het uitzichtpunt op de heuvel. Dat biedt een prachtig overzicht over de stad enerzijds en de kustlijn anderzijds. Wij hadden een familiekamer. Deze heeft twee aparte slaapkamers, erg fijn. De bedden zijn erg ruim en van zeer goede kwaliteit.

SPA: I really enjoyed the indoor warm pool, sauna and also outdoor pool

Cons:

The hotel’s restaurant menu could be a bit expanded: in main dishes they have are only two types of fish (codfish and fish if the day), would be great to include also seabass, salmon, tuna, espada. Also too much vinaigrette in the salads, both Caesar salad and beetroot salad did not meet expectations. Shrimps and soups were good though

Come for the location, leave with a newfound appreciation for your previous hotel
Pros:

The breakfast offered a great variety of options, and the location right by the sea, together with the long swimming pool.

Cons:

I honestly don't know where to start. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing hotel of our trip.

The staff was, with one wonderful exception (the luggage attendant), simply rude and uninterested. Asking a question felt like interrupting their day, and eye-rolling certainly didn't make us feel welcome.

It almost felt like there was a strategy: if you don't pay for a sea view, you get the "24/7 traffic soundtrack" package instead. The windows were so poorly sealed that motorcycles and cars sounded like they were driving through the room. After a sleepless night, we asked for a quieter room. The receptionist's first response? "You can upgrade to a sea view... for an extra charge." I explained I didn't want the view - I wanted the quiet room that was advertised. We were eventually moved to the sea view room, but without so much as a simple apology.

The room itself was very worn, with damaged furniture, visible mold, and a general feeling that maintenance had been forgotten for quite some time.

The spa was another adventure. Exposed nails in the sauna benches, broken accessories, and mold seemed to be regular residents. The towel policy also felt stuck in the 90s - you use the same towel for sitting in the sauna and drying yourself, then exchange it at reception. Not exactly what comes to mind when thinking about hygiene.

And surprisingly, there wasn't even drinking water available in the spa area. Apparently, after a sauna, hydration is optional.

Overall, the hotel felt neglected, outdated, and lacking genuine hospitality. Throughout our stay, we found ourselves wishing we were back at our previous hotel.

Great view and location, but overpriced for what it was
Pros:

Great ocean view, ideal location to explore both east and west of the island. Spacious rooms, very clean. Staff very friendly. We got to check in a bit earlier which was great on bad weather day. We enjoyed sauna and steam room. There is nespresso machine in the room (which turned out to be free of charge despite the note that it’s part of paid mini bar - bit confusing)

Cons:

For this price, the breakfast was low quality - „fresh orange juice” was definitely artificial juice, also very disappointing that they don’t serve azoroan pineapple (which is delicious) but they serve the one from abroad which wasn’t even ripe yet and had no taste. Pastries looked very sad, eggs were too coked and cold. The breakfast doesn’t really change from one day to another. In the bathroom there is no place to hang towels, especially hand towels which is very annoying. Swimming pool was super cold even in late June (it’s a shame it is not heated - in other hotel in azores we had heated outdoor pool and it was amazing to enjoy even in bad weather), while indoor pool has strong chlorine smell.

Super Lage und sehr praktisches Hotel mit einigen Voteilen.

Cons:

Das Restaurant und Frühstück schmeckte uns nicht und war überteuert. (positiv: Nespresso Maschinen). Das Personal im Restaurant war nicht besonders geschickt, nicht aufmerksam und auch nicht freundlich. Mit direkten Worten gesagt, hatten sie keine Lust zum Arbeiten. Im Gegensatz zur Reception! An der Reception waren alle charmant und hilfsbereit.
Am Pool und Tisch und Stühlen draussen hatte es nur hoch oben festmontierte Sonnenschirme, die nichts nutzten.

Snídaně spise průměrné ne jako v 5*.Neroznasi kafe, není možnost si nechat udělat lepší vejce. Cappuccino tragédie. Večeře take spise průměr.

Pros:

I enjoyed my stay the whole time. My highlights: the ocean view from the balcony but also from the restaurant, outdoor and indoor pool; the wonderful pure nature between the hotel and the ocean plus the direct way from the back of the hotel to the beach.

Dinner at the restaurant was great, I highly recommend the octopus and as dessert the brownie with caramel.

Cons:

Nothing comes to my mind that I did not like. Still, a cheaper price would have made me happier 😀
