el desayuno deja mucho que desear en comparación con el resto del hotel. Nos pareció un desayuno muy, muy pobre y bastante por debajo del nivel que esperábamos teniendo en cuenta la calidad general del alojamiento.
Por otro lado, lamentablemente la estancia terminó empañada por un detalle que considero importante comentar.
El hotel nos cobró inicialmente 2.000 THB por las almohadas y sus fundas debido a manchas de tinte de pelo. Después de hablarlo con ellos y reclamar, finalmente el importe quedó en 1.000 THB.
Entiendo perfectamente que el hotel pueda cobrar por daños o manchas que no puedan eliminarse, y no digo que me parezca mal. Lo que considero poco acertado es no informar al huésped desde el primer momento de que una mancha accidental de tinte en una almohada supondría un cargo y, además, que se cobrarían las almohadas utilizadas durante la estancia.
Si nos hubieran avisado el primer día, simplemente habríamos tenido mucho más cuidado o habríamos utilizado siempre la misma almohada para evitar generar un gasto innecesario. Sin embargo, se nos informó de todo esto el último día, cuando ya no había posibilidad de actuar de otra manera.
No es tanto por los 1.000 THB —que finalmente pagamos y que entendemos desde su punto de vista— sino por la falta de información previa y la manera en que se gestionó, algo que terminó empañando completamente una estancia que, por lo demás, había sido buena.

Surprisingly good
Pros:

Very convenient location, within walking distance to several main spots, in particular to a great café (Akha Ama). The room was extremely clean for Thai standards and the staff were supportive and welcoming.
