Habitaciones de diseño amplias, limpias y bien climatizadas!
Pros:

Nosotros cogimos una habitación doble superior y la verdad es que era muy grande! (Cama de 1,80m + mesillas a cada lado; escritorio; un sofá auxiliar y un pequeño armario abierto con estantes suficiente para dejar el equipaje). El baño también grande, con bañera y ducha.
A nivel estético, el diseño de la habitación y el baño es muy bonito, no tiene nada que envidiar a cualquier hotel en Europa.
Destacaría sobre todo la limpieza de las instalaciones y lo bien climatizado que estaba tanto la habitación privada como las salas comunes como la recepción o el salón para los desayunos.

La piscina es pequeña, pero correcta para darse un chapuzón de tarde antes de ducharse para ir a la ciudad en busca de algún mercado o restaurante donde cenar.

El personal es muy amable en todo momento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar.

El desayuno también es correcto. No debes esperar algo 100% como en un hotel europeo. Lanna Oriental dispone de huevos revueltos y a la plancha, bacon (en ocasiones), pan de molde, piña natural y sandía cortada, cruasanes pequeños, cereales, leche, máquina de café… y también cosas típicas que desayunan los tailandeses como arroz estilo tres delicias, patatas, tallarines o pollo en salsa. Hay un poco de todo: también puedes pedir que te preparen una tortilla francesa al momento. Nosotros por la comodidad de desayunar en el mismo hotel pensamos que está bien, aunque es cierto que hay una cafetería pegada al alojamiento donde también se puede comprar café y algo de desayuno. Pero no miramos precios allí.

Cons:

La piscina es cierto que dispone de poco espacio para tumbonas: si muchos huéspedes quisieran ir a la vez, no habría sitio para todos ni dentro ni fuera del agua.
Al llegar a la habitación nos costó un poco entender cómo funcionaba la alcachofa de la ducha (tiene 3 posiciones y el grifo a priori era difícil de reconocer) la presión del agua podía ser algo mejor, y la temperatura era difícil de graduar (pasabas de agua hirviendo a fresca rotando levemente el grifo). No obstante, hablando con otros turistas españoles en Chiang Mai nos habían comentado exactamente lo mismo sobre la temperatura en las duchas, así que igual es un problema común en cualquier alojamiento aquí.
Un pequeño detalle a mejorar sería la iluminación en el baño: falta un aplique de luz directamente en el espejo del baño para verse mejor al afeitarse, maquillarse, etc. También vendría bien disponer de otro espejo adicional e igual de grande que el del baño en la propia habitación, así mientras uno se ducha el otro puede seguir aseándose fuera del propio baño.

The cleaning and room turn over didn’t arrive until 3pm approx each day and some days 3:30pm. This was too late as we then had to leave the room again when they came. Usually day trips leave early and get back around 2pm so it would’ve been nice to have room cleaned before then.
