Please note, at check-in we will also require a security deposit of $150 AUD in the form of a credit or debit card pre-authorisation or $250 bond in the case of guests choosing to use cash or EFTPOS cards.

At check-out, if no charges are outstanding, the credit/debit pre-authorisation or EFTPOS transaction will be reversed. Please allow up to 14 days for your bank to process the release of funds. Cash bonds will be refunded in full at check-out.

Valid photo identification (in the same name as the payment card used for booking) must also be presented at check-in, of which a copy will be retained.

Please note there is a 3% surcharge when you pay with an American Express or Diners Club credit card, and a 1.5% surcharge when you pay with a Visa or Mastercard credit card.

The size is always comfortable, polite and the food is always tasting good
Pros:

Location is ideal for what I needed. The food is always excellent there but the loud drunk people at night in the hallway was a little bit upsetting and disturbing.

Pros:

Restaurants within walking distance, easy access by bus and car.

Cons:

The TV streaming was hard to set up. You had to sign into the tv with a Google account not just stream to it.
We witnessed them rinsing the cups and spoons in bathroom sink instead of replacing/cleaning when doing service. Never used them again.
Bathroom was rundown and needs some TLC. A microwave would have been handy for meals.

I like the Metro for convenience of location but for the price it does require refurbishing.

Requires updating in the rooms. Curtains I had to reattach end to hooks and bed kept pushing away from the wall. More pillows would be good.
