We had a terrace room so we had doors opening out and a place to sit. Great in the beautiful sunshine
However at night this meant doors open or closed - no air con and no fans available

The staff were cheerful and overcame the challenges the extreme hot weather caused. The cold water tank is in the roof so was running warm. The staff provided jugs of iced water for residents.
No gas due to the extreme weather causing malfunction- limited menu, but we were kept informed.
We stayed during the June heatwave and the hotel has no aircon in the rooms. Fans were provided, but not sufficient to cool the room. We spent time in the air conditioned bar.
Great position on beautiful golf course. All staff we dealt with were excellent. Tariff Included breakfast tho buffet identical every day.
Our room and assume others now getting tired and due for refurb. eg. Ditch the 1980s purple.
Ditto for dining rooms and dated menus. This hotel has great infrastructure and with modest capital investment could jump to 4 star, target more international visitors while retaining golfing base.
My room was spacious, clean and well organised.
There was no air con, this wasn’t a big issue for me as I was on the first floor so was able to open my windows wide to allow a pleasant breeze in.

Very comfortable hotel in a lovely setting, you don't need to be a golfer to stay here, it is lovely as a hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had dinner on one evening and it was superb. Staff in the restaurant were always very pleasant, smiling and happy.
Breakfast was a challenge for them with 100+ German golfers and associated visitors but they rose to the occasion.
