great place to stay for going to airport Bristol
Pros:

nice comfortable room; very handy for staying nthe night before leaving early to go to Bristol airport; only 10 minute drive to airport & they leave out some breakfast for you if you want to eat before leaving early; friendly staff

Cons:

some road noise in room on main road but not during the night

Really impressed with the standard of the room and excellent food in the restaurant
Pros:

The location was excellent, close to the airport. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very good. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

Cons:

Continental breakfast the following morning was ok. The only we would criticise is there was no butter for the toast and no one to ask.

The garden

Cons:

The manager has switched off the phones as they were busy so we travelled for 2 hours not knowing whether we would be too late bWe were given a twin room having booked a king size. The room was small. The washbasin was ridiculously small. The breakfast was poor. They did not know we had a pet despite me checking the pet box. And we had to pay an extra £25 - no prior information about this. The manager was obviously very tired and didn't seem bothered about the wrong room, the pretty charge, and the fact that the phones had been switched off

Lovely seating area outside and reasonably priced.

Cons:

The stairs to the first floor were too steep, to carry a 20kg case up.or for the elderly.

Help your self breakfast disappointing
Pros:

Comfortable room, best pillows in the south west atmospheric pub

Cons:

No bottled water in room, had to request milk for tea, served fresh but went off over night as no fridge in room. The help your self breakfast is always disappointing.
