Pros:

Great location for early flight from Bristol Airport. Complimentary buffet breakfast which you could help yourself to before leaving was very thoughtful. Evening meal very good in restaurant. Great stay

Better than a chain hotel
Pros:

Friendly welcome, room was lovely and super clean. Bathroom was fab. We ate in the restaurant which had a varied menu, our meals were freshly cooked and tasty. The seating area outside is covered and there's plenty of space. Parking wasn't a problem. Light breakfast is left for you to help yourself to in the garden room, cereal, toast, fruit. We'd definitely stay here again if we come back to that area.

they stopped serving food at 6pm on the Sunday that we were booked in. got there just before 6 and could not get food. Dinner was the corner shop

A great stop over before a flight out of Bristol - Comfy - Good Bar - Restaurant - Great Staff
Pros:

We had drinks and dinner - all very good.
Room very good - if a little hot - but we were mid heat wave - there was a fan which moved the warmth about - not their fault there was a heat wave!
They had 2 girls running service, in the evening - they worked their socks off - knew the menu - remembered what you wanted without writing it down - they did not stop all night - it was impressive

Excellent as usual
Pros:

Old pub but fresh clean and up to date facilities. Well located for Bristol and the airport,self serve breakfast facility available for early starts/flights

Highly recommend
Pros:

Great room, had everything i needed. Decorated lovely and very clean. Staff were friendly, food was great. Great location for travel to Bristol Airport.

A good stay with a couple issues
Pros:

The room was lovely, we entered and the radio was already on, it felt really welcoming.

The room was a good size and was really clean and pleasant, it felt modern but still had a touch of authenticity.

There was a fan in the room which was appreciated!

Cons:

The dinner service was a bit of a disaster, a lot of the food was so salty especially the starter which was so heavily salted it was inedible. The main of my partner came with a sauce which was also incredibly salty. The desert order was wrong two times and one desert came out with a big hair wrapped around it. However, the restaurant was very understaffed as they weren't expecting so many customers midweek, I can't fault the service staff; they did incredibly well under the strain and demand and rectified all my issues, so top marks for them.

This isn't the fault of the hotel but the road out front is incredibly busy throughout the night, I'm a heavy sleeper and even I struggled to sleep through the constant rumble of HGV's.

Pros:

The bed was very comfy, the en-suite shower had a good selection of gels/shampoo to use & the towels were good quality.
Breakfast was continental style, with individual kilner pots of their own prepared granola pots. James was an excellent host & very helpful.
