The staff,
Nothing everything was fine, this the only place I like to stay at.
We enjoyed the unique decorations throughout the building.
The parking isn't the best. The lot is too far from the main entrance.
The location was great and the breakfast was very good
Wonderful breakfast!
No artwork in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel so it felt very cold. They had old pieces of furniture that were neat but bare with only a few old books on. They had handmade paper sign a lot of places that had water spots on them so it just looked dirty. So much potential though! The pool and hot tub were great! It’s hard to find a working hot tub in hotels any more!
Horrible trash hotel!! Employees are the worst!!
I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was nice with a bar & restaurant right there. That was nice
My toilet handle didn't work in room 234. Everyime me & my granddaughter used the bathroom I had to take the back of it manual flush it. Also I lost my retainer & I believe it fell under the bed (i forgot to tell them that part) but housekeeping said they didn't find it in the room but I don't think they looked une the bed. It was very expensive & I'd like it back
Very clean and the people was

Breakfast and location
We were moved to a room with a pull out bed that we didn't ask for but were still charged for it.
Smoke alarm went off 3am for an hour. We were never told by staff what happened or given any compensation for the inconvenience. We decided to leave a day early.
I love everything about this Hotel. This is the place to go when visiting bloomington,il.
When it was “Jumers” I always was fascinated with this building. Wasn’t ever able to afford to stay here. As an adult the experience was wonderful.
Everything
I was double charged for the deposit
I did for the most part, appreciate the accommodations and the friendliness and knowledge of staff. If I had to request any additional items as towels or anything to that nature, my requests we met with no issues. I liked the location and the atmosphere.. also the breakfast selection was good although there was a possibility I feel like the food may have been carried over from one day to the next. The staff I will say was amazing except for the what I would consider extreme inconvenience and really complete letdown and the way that things were handled with an issue that I had .
The only things about the property that I didn’t like is the door to the outside in the back the key would not work to that door nor to the side door, but was working to my room. I’m not sure if it was something that was an overall issue because I did notice that the door kept getting propped. So although that helped the issue with the key, not working on the door, it then brought about a security issue. The key was remade, but it still just would not work to that back door. Also one of the nights that we were there the fire alarm went off for hours on end. I’m assuming that was out of your control, possibly. But again it did cause a disruption in the entire night of sleep. Also, there was one evening that I was in the pool closer to the time that it would be closing, and I noticed a man walking out of the woman’s bathroom. It looked like he had some type of tool in his hand, and I’m assuming he was maintenance, but there was no sign indicating that he had no shirt on indicating that and he was walking quickly out of the restroom . I can only assume that it was just a typical maintenance issue, but as I was alone and trying to relax in the pool area, it just was something that I noticed and just kind of changed the vibe a little bit.
Beautiful from the outside, not sure what vibe they are going for as to me it looks very dated but apparently it’s just been refurbished
The tiny bar closed at 9pm. There is little you can walk to as the roads are vast. Lovely if you are happy to just chill
They had a great breakfast the pool and the hot tub room were very nice
My room seemed like it wasn’t clean. The blankets on the bed felt yucky is the best word I can use. They just seem a little worn out and like they needed to be replaced also, when we went in the room, the room smelled doggy. I tried to spray some Febreze in the room. The hotel was full. They were dealing with the power outage, and there was like doggy kibble in the corner of the room like somebody just dumped a bag of dog food there.
