The simplicity of the place and the staff

The smell of the linens, fabrics. Maybe they can add some conditioners or downy, etc

The staff was nice

Cons:

The bed sheets were pretty worn, definitely used a lot I slept in my clothes I was so tired. Bathroom floor still had hair on floor from last rental. Aircon was out for 6 hours, but they told me they had a generator?

The lacarltion by far which was very close to the bus abd ferry terminals.

Cons:

NO fridge and the window ledge fill of pidgeon droppings, pidgeons nesting and eggs.

Pick this if you want a decent hotel with a great location.
Pros:

Great value with a great location. Walking distance from the port. McDo is downstairs and Jollibee and Dunkin are 1 block away.

Cons:

The bed was too hard. They charge for everything - extra pillow, towel, refrigerator.

Great location / different el. socket type / weak wifi
Pros:

The location is very convenient
The staff is very helpful and friendly
The room was cozy
The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The view from the window - no view basically, just the windows of other rooms right behind the curtain
I was very surprised that there is a different type of electrical sockets - other than in Cebu City!!! I do not blame the hotel for this - I should have been prepared for this; however, it surprised me and so I struggled with charging my devices.
The wifi was very weak - I could catch it for a few minutes on my phone, but not possible on my laptop
