Fantastisch comfortabel luxe boutique hotel
Pros:

Het is een prachtig boutique hotel in Japanse stijl. De kamers zijn ruim en zéér comfortabel. Alle drankjes zijn inbegrepen en het personeel is super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ik zou zeker nog een keer terug gaan.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in
Pros:

Very quiet, elegant hotel. Very large, comfortable room. Superb location. Free drinks in the evening and free continental breakfast a bonus.

Pros:

This hotel felt luxurious and I was so very comfortable! So many things are included, like morning croissants, soft drinks, happy hour, and even laundry. The bed was heavenly, and the bathtub was a treat. The staff are so very kind and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It feels like a 5-star hotel for certain!

Pros:

Room was luxurious, bathroom was great with a TV over the bathtub. TV in bedroom had english options for movies. Free coffee and cold drinks was also good. Bed was very comfy. We hired the private bath and sauna room and that was great

Cons:

Potentially an open spa area with Saunas for everyone to enjoy would be an idea. You pay good money for this hotel and that was its only downfall.

A quiet oasis in a busy city
Pros:

This hotel feels very luxurious and high end, with large, comfortable beds and a very high quality shower. From the moment you walk in, you’re swept away into a comfortable oasis. I wish I could’ve stayed here longer to have one full day to relax in the hotel itself. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me during my stay, and I couldn’t be more thankful for their hospitality. The staff displayed exceptional professionalism. I highly recommend you enjoy the free drinks in the lounge in the afternoon and take advantage of the private spa while you stay. In a busy city like Kyoto, this hotel felt like the calm I needed.

Cons:

I appreciate that there is a small pastry and coffee service offered by the hotel for breakfast, but I do wish there was something more substantial as an option. When I recall booking the hotel, there were photographs of a more traditional style breakfast present, and to this day there is a tab on their website stating that breakfast would be brought to our room to enjoy each morning, but that was not an option during my stay. All in all though, I’d still highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kyoto!!

Phenomenal place, people, and accommodation.
Pros:

The room was phenomenal along with the staff. Room was clean and stocked. Easily accessible in the city of Kyoto. Excited to return in the future.

Cons:

Nothing all of it was great! Couldn’t ask for more. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family and would love to go again. Overall, no notes.

Everything was perfect
Pros:

Everything was perfect, the room size, the bathroom with a jacuzzi, the beauty products provided (lotion, cream, oil, etc...), and even a hair straightener :) The Lounge is super nice to chill after a day of walking, the sake provided free of charge was excellent, the staff super helpful

Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location, super close to Gion street but in a quite area.
It is convenient to go around central Kyoto.
The room was amazing, very spacious, with attention to detail, with great amenities that you feel really comfortable - like home.
The shared areas (lobby) are also of a great taste.
We used the private baths, which was a great experience.
Also, the people there were very kind, willing to help and make you feel nice.
Definitely recommend it. I already miss my stay there!
