Good location for where I was staying
Whole hotel was humid. Everything was damp even with the ac set on 62. Made the booking on Booking.com months ago. It was supposed to be $530 total for 3 night. I get there at the hotel and the guy says $705. Refused to do anything about it. This is 2 years in a row I’ve had problems at this hotel. Last year there was absolutely no hot water.
The room was very nice. Clean and spacious.
Breakfast bar ran out of food. It took awhile to refill.
We stayed at this hotel in spite of the mixed reviews on this site and from friends. In the plus side all but one floor has been renovated and modernized with very attractive guest rooms, modern fixtures and subdued colors. The first floor has yet to be renovated and based on then former dark earth tones, the renovation is a big plus. Also the location of the hotel is great and near many restaurants and stores in Mechanicsburg.
The front desk staff are great, polite and attentive to every request. Hot breakfast is complimentary and decent—eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, real bagels, cereals, packet oatmeal , yogurts, hard boiled eggs, oranges and bananas.
Two areas for improvement for our room 331:
1. The HVAC system was excessively noisy for a newly renovated room and needs repair and a reliable connection to the new thermostat which kept showing error messages.
2. The hotel commits to daily housekeeping. That didn’t happen in our room even though we had left it by 11:30 am for the day. Don’t commit to this unless you’re going to follow through.
We will give this hotel another try in 3 months. It does have very good potential.
The room
The elevator looks too old and not clean enough.
From start to finish our stay was amazing. From check in with David, welcomed with a smile. We were given a renovated room which was a huge improvement from our last room. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast was 10/10. Clarissa was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel when in the area!
Bed was comfortable and hot water
Room smelled bad no alarm clock no phone charger no plugs to charge your phone are any thing you need to plug walls where nasty curtains where nasty the bed frame was nasty and was off by 4 inches on one side

Staff did not know ice machines were not operational or not on floor. Had to check every floor. Remote did not work TV. The entire place, walls floors, everything dirty and dingy looking
The breakfast was good. Was in a hurry to leave the hotel due to condition of it.
The front desk staff indicated the room booked for us was taken. Another room was assigned and check for cleanliness but the toilet did not flush. We were moved to another room that was not spic and span clean. Seemed like it had not been used in awhile and not refreshed. The faucets were not cleaned.
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable
Only had warm in the shower the first night. After that it was ice cold and it didn’t matter what you tried or what time of day you tried it
Staff, food, breakfast staff was excellent
Hotel was very outdated. For the price we were very disappointed.
Parking was easy. Check in was easy. My issue was that the room was dirty. There were empty drink bottles under the bed, food, candy wrappers. The carpet felt gross. It looked like someone had been on one of the beds. Sheets had some stains. I checked out early. The hotel would not refund me stating that because I "booked with expedia" they couldn't do anything. They did offer another room but my friends room was just as bad so I the gave up the cost of a night. Poor excuse on the hotels part. I'm not sure if that was true but I will think twice about booking through a travel site in the future.
