I think the breakfast was okay, we were in several hotels during our US trip and it's like this everywhere. Honestly the omelet was the only thing what we liked here.
- I have to agree with others, the staff was really rude, I didn't even see at least one kind receptionist/manager.
The issue started when we checked in. The receptionist without any will to help us with the check in, just throw the card terminal at me and told that I need to pay fort he room upon arrival, then I told her that I had already paid and she didn't believe me. I asked her to check it and then without any apologies she told that it's okay but I still have to pay 100$ as a deposit, which is fine but still it wasn't mentioned anywhere previously. Next day I woke up and got charged 332$. When I went down to the reception I found another grumpy receptionist who couldn't even explain this to me and she insisted on that I needed to pay upon arrival. After 15 min of discussion, asking for the monitor's screen to check what she sees and thanks to my partner's good logical thinking it turned out that we got charged a credit limit which was not mentioned anywhere previously either. This means they are pre-charging you and you can consume anything from that amount, and you will receive back the amount of money what you haven't spent in the hotel (not that I could have spent 232$ in that hotel on anything, so I find this amount a little crazy...). So for two nights we got charged an insane amount of money and they couldn't even tell us that this will happen and this is not mentioned anywhere. The staff's unprofessional and rude behavior made this worse, you don't treat guests like this for this amount of money in a Marriott affiliate hotel.
- on our floor there was a constant loud humming during the night
Overall I don't recommend this hotel, doesn't deserve to be called a Marriott. You pay a little bit more and they will treat you like a human in other hotels. The hotel itself it is not so bad, but these things are really annoying when you pay this amount of money.
Front desk were happy to answer questions. Was reliable enough to be a place to stay as needed which was what it was for us. Wasn't really here for luxury or ammineties (not that there was much of those things) but just needed clean, affordable, safe place to stay for an event in town we traveled up here to attend.
Minor issues during check in
Broken handles/etc
Smoke alarm actually kept going off at like 9:40am due to repairs on the elevators (not sure why or how these 2 are related) which was very annoying and frightening at first. Of course no money back or compensation for anything was offered, just an explanation and "yeah sorry".
Good price for what it was. Property was nice, and staff was nice. Location was not ideal but not having my family with me, I was okay with that
Close to everything
More breakfast options but it was alright
Nada
We could adjust the setting of the temperature in the room, very much liked that. Everything was clean and nice
The fire alarm kept going off in the morning
Big rooms, big beds. Everything was comfortable.
Breakfast. The very same breakfast was served every day. Eggs, cereals and bread with butter/Philadelphia. That’s it. If you plan to stay for several days, it gets boring.
Everything.
Nothing
The property was very accessible
I didn’t like that the staff came in our room right after we got there and we left for dinner and the water was not hot. It wasn’t but barely lukewarm to take a shower very dissatisfied will not stay again.
Location was close to where I needed to be
Clean
The property was really clean and beds was real comfortable I will come back again
Na
Free Nice Breakfast!
I wish the staff was lil nice. She looked overworked and grumpy.
The staff was super sweet and went the extra mile. Especially Michelle!
