Historic Charm in the Perfect New Orleans Location!
Pros:

We loved our stay at the Andrew Jackson Hotel! The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, restaurants, shops, and so much of what New Orleans has to offer. I especially love staying in historic hotels, and this one has so much character, charm, and history.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet at night considering how close we were to everything. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the beautiful courtyard and the authentic New Orleans atmosphere of the hotel, it truly added to the experience of our trip.

We also loved hearing about the history and ghost stories associated with the hotel, it made staying in such an old New Orleans property even more fun and memorable! We will definitely stay here again!

Pros:

La localisation, la clim.

Cons:

Great night !!!
Pros:

From check in to check out staff was amazing! Leon met us at the door and was an amazing host. He even tried to get us in to room 208 (thank you Leon) The stay was only one night but was perfect and the “hotel” did not disappoint (Armand and Walter thanks for an interesting night) will definitely be back and maybe even get to stay in 208!!!

Awesome place to stay!
Pros:

The Andrew Jackson hotel has all the charm of New Orleans in a location convenient to everything you want to do. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the “haunted” rooms still contain the chandeliers known to house the spirits (and yes, weird things that can’t be explained did happen while we were there!) The air conditioning worked well in the summer heat and there is a beautiful secluded court yard to sit in to enjoy the warm nights. Bourbon street is a short walk away as is the French Market area.

Pros:

Great location, beautiful place, AC worked amazing! Once we got the door pads figured out, coming and going went smoothly.

Cons:

Bathroom is very small. Shower water was scalding hot regardless of what we tried. No storage since the room was so small. Parking offiste wound up being an issue, but that's not really their problem.

LeRoys the best hotel manager
Pros:

The manager, LeRoy, was the most amazing blessing… He took care of everything we needed. LeRoy was so attentive to my daughter’s questions about the history of the hotel and allowed her to walk around to view different rooms to get to know the architecture and history of each room. Leroy upgraded us to a balcony room since we came out of season and there weren’t very many visitors at the time. We were able to throw beads at night. It was the first time my daughter and I have ever had a balcony. It was just an amazing time and I can’t say enough about how gracious Leroy was. The cleaning staff was very tentative and anytime we crossed paths they constantly asked if we needed anything if they wanted our room clean and kept advising us if there was anything we needed or wanted to let them know and they would handle it. Simply amazing trip. Thanks LeRoy and crew of the Andrew Jackson Hotel for making our stay amazing.

Cons:

We couldn’t stay longer , lol
No negatives about the property

LeRoy is the best
Pros:

I stayed at the Provential every time I came into town until this trip. After meeting LeRoy and his hospitality, I will never stay anywhere but the Andrew Jackson Hotel!!! It was my daughter’s first trip to New Orleans and LeRoy made sure every moment was memorable!!!
Thanks LeRoy, can’t wait to see you this winter when it’s not so hot …. I’m recommending your hotel to all my friends. By the way, our tv got turned off in the middle of our movie last night. The spirits were telling us to go to bed 😊

Not the best place I’ve stayed at. Management isn’t very accommodating. Front desk clerk, Elroy, was the only hospitable
Pros:

I loved the location. It was close to everything place I wanted to visit. Everything was in walking distance.

Cons:

Starting off, my room was okay. There were just a ton of gnats and mosquitoes that I was swatting at the whole time. My room was also located right by the entrance to the courtyard that stays open 24/7. So all through out the night, I could hear every person going in and out. If you stay here and that would bother you, avoid room 103.
Lastly, I drove to Nola, so I needed a place to park my car. They offer valet parking and that was nice. However, when the staff took my car to their enclosed parking lot (only employees have access to) they damaged my vehicle. I had a front license plate on my car before I left, and when it was returned to me, it was off. Forcibly taken off.
And unfortunately, they make you sign a waiver that states “you park at your own risk” so the hotel managers refused to take responsibility for this issue. Parking is also REALLY expensive with them. So that’s another thing to consider. If you’re flying in and need a more inexpensive place to stay, I would say go with this place. Don’t park with them. They will not take proper care of your vehicle and they surely won’t pay for any damages or offer compensation for any wrong they do. And you may want to consider bringing bug spray to avoid being eaten alive by misquotes. Maybe a fly swatter too.

Pros:

Hotel was in the center of all attractions. Many were on walkable distance. No security concern walking during night. Like very much the old architecture of the hotel.

Cons:

It would have been great if a coffee making machine was available in the room, which i think is not a huge investment.

Definitely haunted!
Pros:

We stayed for one night at the Andrew Jackson Hotel in room 208. Leroy was fantastic and answered all of our questions when we inquired about the room. He was there upon check-in as, as well as check-out and the process was very smooth.

We were lucky enough to stay in room 208 for a night, and we wish we could have stayed longer. We had many of our belongings moved around while we were present in the room. Sadly we didn't see an apparation, nor did we see the items being moved, but I can still say we got more than we expected because of the number of items that were displaced. For example, two items were knocked off of the TV dresser and one of those items was under the bed. All of my toiletries were off the counter and in the sink, my bag of toiletries on the ground looked as if it were rummaged through. A bag of chips that I was eating was also found under the bed later on.

My advice to anyone staying at this hotel would be to bring something noisy, like a maraca, and place it next to the TV. Take a picture of your belongings after you have unpacked and take a picture if something is moved (More as proof to yourself). Don't bring a stuffed animal in unless you intend to leave it. We do suspect something may have followed us home and the only reason I can think of is we only left 1 out of 2 stuffed animals that were in the room. The one that wasn't touched was the one we left :(

We would absolutely stay here again, but we would stay more than one night. We would also bring some noisy items to leave around so that hopefully we could catch them being moved. There was no negative energy while staying in this room. It was also clean, comfortable, etc.

Awesome
Pros:

What a wonderful experience! Check in was the day before via email. Day of, I received text messages about my room and the key codes. I was allowed to park my motorcycle in the guest parking. And that evening the tours were taking photos of my bike infront of the hotel. It was very rewarding experience.
