Good stay for one night . It was a ways from Halifax and without a car you would be fairly isolated .
Pros:

Clean . Good price.

Cons:

Quite a ways outside of Halifax.

Pros:

Rooms were great, new, fresh and very clean! We didn’t use the pool or fitness area but everything was in great condition

The breakfast was ok but everything was cold…eggs, bacon etc. would have been excellent otherwise

Front Desk totally non knowledgeable
Pros:

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was above average. Parking was convenient. Eateries within walking distance.

Cons:

I would have given a much higher score but the front desk staff gave me an explanation which was not acceptable regarding why I was charged higher than my booking rate with booking.com. He told me the extra charges were levied by booking.com. I took the matter up with booking.com who reverted that the hotel advised that it was due to tax increase by the provincial government. Why did booking.com nor the hotel inform me of this. Why was one explanation given to me in person and another given to booking.com. I would not have brought this matter up if the hotel had just told me the actual reason why the difference. This incident leaves a bad taste for me for both the hotel and the way booking.com handled the matter.

Not only was the facility nicely located, easy to find, directly next to Tim Hortons, irving, and the liquor store, It was very clean, and the staff were super helpful. They helped facilitate the decoration of our room before we arrived to surprise our son for his birthday and left some treats. We will be back

Hotel très bien
Pros:

Tre confortable. Le petit déjeuner était complet et très bien. Situé près de plusieurs restaurants et à 15 minutes du centre ville.

Cons:

Etant le vendredi, la piscine était très occupée avec des jeunes durant la soirée. Heureusement que la piscine est ouverte de 22 à 23 heures pour les adultes.

Pros:

We had an excellent day exploring Halifax, yet, we were jet-lagged. When we finished downtown, we headed back to Kearney Lake Rd, to Chateau Bedford.
The front desk staff were welcoming & excellent!!
Our well appointed room, was CLEAN & quiet. The shower, was SO NICE; I was then ready for sleep.
I crawled into the excellent bed, and ALL THEIR WONDERFUL BEDDING made for a SUPER COMFY Sleep!!
Breakfast was one of the BEST Hotel breakfasts I have had. I LOVEthis facility & absolutely highly recommend if you are looking (FIRSTLY) for a wonderfully restful sleep ❤️
