Pros:

Very easy to access by both public transport or taxi/uber. Quiet at night so great for actually getting sleep + bed is very comfy. Staff very friendly and accommodating, we arrived early and had hopped to just leave our bags there while we explored, the room was ready and they let us in early which was fantastic.

Very enjoyable night after attending event at Hammer hall.
Pros:

Great buffet breakfast, scrambled eggs were delish. Many choices including breads, danishes, croissants, fruit, cereals and Asian choice.

Cons:

Found one of the pillow cases did have a stain. Window faced a brick wall but did not have a blind or curtain. So let in light in the room.

I was disappointed and disgusted will never book/return to Rendezvous Hotel
Pros:

I was there alone for 2 nights. 2nd day I was told I’m only entitled for breakfast on the 1st day and was then charged on the 2nd day. Then they claimed I have never been at that hotel as my name does not appear as a regular. Guests were milling at the Front Desk hearing how I’m being shamed. I eventually showed them proof I’d been with Rendezvous some months prior. It was excruciating being shamed by these 2 girls at the front desk thst instead of staying another night, I transferred to another hotel, infuriated by these people at this hotel that I will not go back to!


The reason I chose to return at this hotel was that the breakfast was convenience for us not having to go out in the mornings to choose breakfast.
I was shamed the same day when I went down for breakfast as I was told I was no longer entitled to it on the 2nd day & people around me who could hear made me so anxious & shamed trying to convince them we were at that hotel for 3 nights months ago and the Front Desk people then were so nice & accommodating we gave them the highest rating then.

Cons:

Just these 2nd day front desk women shaming me while other people waiting to be served were around.
Plus if course the Breakfast checker telling me I’m not entitled for breakfast - shame again with other people on the line behind me

Highly recommend for a reasonable priced , extremely comfortable & quiet stay in a convenient location
Pros:

Loved its old world charm, the location was fabulous and the beds were so comfortable . The gorgeous Ms Ava Bar had so much ambience and the buffet breakfast was great .
