The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great!
Very convenient location. A regular stop when in melbourne.
For those who want to experience retro fashion this could be a good place. Wooden stairs, wooden doors, reminds me of 80s. Arrived late in midnight but the reception staff was friendly and helpful.
The location appears good if you only look at google map. But turns out if you come back late in night or want to get a can of beer or drink (after service hour of the hotel room service), the surrounding is quite annoying. Hobos, maniacs, crazy teens, unusual-occupation-females (you know what I mean) all around the street corner. (Well still far better than average American streets though. But I guess Singaporeans won't get used to this)
Room is so small. Shower room door right in front of toilet bowl -- at most 15cm away. Being next to train station but the thin walls simply can't gurard you from the sound and vibration of any passing train.

Centrally located just across the Yarra river, good view of of the Yarra river. Beautiful hotel with classic interior.
The staff were friendly especially Judy at the reception. She was so nice, friendly, very welcoming, a breath of fresh when you are a first time traveller to Melbourne. She gave us suggestions where to go during our stay.
Just a stone throw away from the historic Flinders Station. You can take free tram rides (route 35) easily just across the street and hop on and off to important sites in the CBD area.
Breakfast was also good with lots of choices which we really enjoyed. However, it would be nice if they change and alternate their menu so as not to bore guests staying for a few days. But still we enjoyed good breakfast for 5 days.
The rooms were nice though a bit small, we had the Perkins corner view 3 days at the 8th floor and 2 days at the 4th floor and personally the 8th floor gave a better view.
Over all we had a very nice and beautiful experience at rendezvous hotel. ( group of 3 women)
Breakfast was really good but a change of menu every other day will be a good thing especially for those staying for more than a day.

Location was perfect for us
We stayed on a Friday night after both finishing work, looking for somewhere to unwind, and the Rendezvous Hotel was perfect. We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay feel extra special. We kicked the evening off with a couple of delicious Espresso Martinis at the bar, which was exactly what we needed to get back into weekend mode. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everything made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.
The only downsides were that there was just one lift operating near the atrium during our stay, which meant longer waits at times. The room was also a little noisy… the floors were quite creaky, and we could hear people walking in the hallway, and from the floor above quite clearly. It didn’t ruin our stay by any means! The upgrade was nice but I had booked a room with a view and this upgraded room looked out onto a concrete fire wall.
The price was very reasonable and it was a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in a bit early, which was great.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
